I've never bought anything there, but I DO have an account, which will NEVER be used (was going to cancel but I'm not seeing that as an option over there)
Hi,
I don't know if it could help you but I cancel my account just a few hours ago.:cursing:
I had to log-in and then I went on the store's page and in the left colomn, there is a option "delete profile", you just have to confirm and it's ok, the account is deleted (I check it to be sure).
I totally agree with you.
Have a nice day:wub:
First, sorry you all have had/have to go through this. Big hugs to you all.
Second, I am truly in awe of Robin's professionalism and support of rallying behind the team here at SSD.
Although, it is of little comfort to the present situation, it makes me feel so good that my dollars are spent here where there are original and honest designs being sold.
I want to start off by saying how well I think you handled this, Robin. I own BrownieScraps and we actually had a run in with this same designer a year ago. She participated in our design challenges which were CU free, they had to create their own CU. Part way through, it was very obvious that she was using CU product from other designers and claiming it as her own. Upon confronting her, she denied it and stuck to her guns. It was our opinion that it was bad enough to participate in a challenge where you couldn't use CU and then use it, but what was worse was that she was violating the TOU's of the designers she had stolen CU from. We ended up banning her from the site and the challenge, because we just didn't feel it was professional or ethical to have her connected with us in any way. So, while I am not surprised by what I read here, I am saddened that the store owner Robyn now associates with would not do more to separate herself from it. I'm glad to know and will not have anything to do with Pretty Scrappy. I don't even know if I've been there yet, but it's good to know!
I'm so sorry to that all your designers have had to deal with this. You all do such beautiful work! This is one of my favorite places to come shop when I have scrapping time! I'm just sad that someone would so blatantly take advantage!

I almost hate to say I am a designer at Pretty Scrappy, but I am too, sick to my stomach. I actually noticed that Robin was not in the store anymore, nor are her things and wondered what the deal was. I design under the name, Teri's Thing-O-My-Jigs and I will be contacting Julie. I do this for fun and although I am a small designer, and have been established at Pretty Scrappy for about 3 years now, I will be talking to Julie tonight and will have to ask to leave the store. I sell at GingerScraps too and will have to just be happy with one store for now. There is no amount of money that would keep me at a store where the integrity is questioned. I am sorry for you, the designers that were put through this, and wanted you to know, that I for one, will have to do what is right. Thank you for bringing it to my attention in a professional manner. I just deleted everything off my ftp and am letting Julie know now. I will make sure my customers get any links that are due them. Thank you again and I wanted you to know, there are many good designers there that will suffer from this.T
