Why are we not talking about Glee??

Yes, Jackie. Yes, you do.

I ♥ this show. Last night I was DYING when Josh Groban said, "Josh Groban like the blowsy alcoholics." Cracked me up. So did the choreographer guy. Haha!

OMG. 'Glee' = BEST. SHOW. EVER. Where do I even begin with the amazingness that is 'Glee?'

Matthew Morrison is totally my new crush. DH summed it up perfectly when he said, 'Hey, that guy looks like he could be Justin Timberlake's older brother.' Uh, YEAH. Hot + singing = SUPERHOT.

If I hadn't been a Gleek before, the Acafellas singing Color Me Badd would have sealed the deal. I TiVoed that mutha and watched it, like, 8 times when DH was gone at an appointment for work.

:wub::wub::wub:

I really like it. I find it funny, and I watch it with my 9 year old. Probably not the best show for a 9 year old, but she loves the music.

This weeks was better than last weeks thank goodness!! The premiere was still the best lol

I need to rewatch this past one..i listened more than watched and evidently missed a bit lol

I've watched it twice but I'm not sure if I'll continue to once my hubby gets home from his vacation since I KNOW he won't want to watch it and we'll be recording so many other things. It's pretty good though :)

I knew I loved you.
I have watched an episode of Glee every day for the past 4 weeks. And yeah, I know there have only been 3 episodes. I really need to figure out the settings to "never delete" on my dvr until I can buy the season on dvd.

DH talked me into watching the pilot over the weekend (he had taped it in the spring or whenever it was on and decided to watch it closer to the time it would be on as a series). OMG! I am SOOOO glad he had me watch it. I LOVE it!! I don't watch much TV but this is a must!!

I watched it last night and it was over, and Jeff says.. aren't you going to delete it? OMG NO. Matthew is hot. HOT HOT HOT. Sigh.

Was anyone else happy when that little cheerleader girl made that comment at the end? (am trying to not spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it lol)

loooooooove it!! i watched the premiere more times than i can count (LOL - my three year old walks around singing "she caught the midnight train going anywhere ....") ... and the newer two episodes several times :) i'm officially addicted!! majorly crushing on matthew (love the way he dances!) and on the football dude w/ the mohawk - LOL!

You're in luck Dana, football dude wants a cougar! :D :D :D :D

I don't think I saw the pilot or premiere - I did watch it last week and I had mixed feelings. It is a *funny* show with some quirky characters - which I love - but some of the lip synching was so bad it literally pained me to watch....here's hoping for some improvement on that?

OMG. Just found out that Matty played Link in 'Hairspray.' I heart that movie, and I heart any guy who ends up with the fat gurl at the end of the movie. OMG. He is sooooooooo pretty. Check the vid below.

'You Can't Stop the Beat'

I just found this out yesterday too! I totally thought he sounded familiar but I could not figure out where I knew him from. Turns out he's on the original Broadway cast recording of Hairspray which I've listened to, oh about a million times. :D

I watched the pilot ep in the spring, then the 1st ep last week. I have the 2nd ep all DVR'ed up and ready to go! Love this show! I have an online running friend who is a camera woman for the show.

Oh, You Can't Stop the Beat is one of my all time favorite songs. Ever, ever. I love that video.

I was feeling all guilty for watching it because I have a couple of friends who think the suggestive content is very inappropriate. I just find it funny.... really, "Push It" last week? Hilarious. I see it in the same vein as "Best in Show" or "Waiting for Guffman" just stupid silly. I'm Gleek.

It's good, but I'm not on the "best show ever" team. While entertained and really enjoy the music/dance, I find the "vibe" to be odd at times. I think it's fully intentional, which just makes it even more uncomfortable (for lack of a better word). It's like every time you see the wife or the female teacher (the wide-eyed one), you are supposed to feel anxious about what will/won't happen. I have a very low threshold for dishonesty and infidelity, so it's very distracting from an otherwise fun show.

I like the cheer coach. She cracks me up.

We were SO excited about this show! DH was in show choir growing up, so I think he was even looking forward to it more than me. But, we've been really disappointed! I think it could be an awesome show, but it's too...I guess, suggestive! And, I agree w/Krystal about the whole thing w/the red head teacher! They could've left some of the stuff out, like some of the dance moves, & the cheerleaders in bikinis & things like that & it would be an amazing show! Oh well. One less show to worry about. We watched the pilot, the first episode & turned it off halfway through this weeks.

I was looking forward to the show and I'm trying to like it ... really trying. I love the scenes with the cheer coach. Funny stuff. I also like some of the supporting characters (Mercedes and Kurt in particular). However most of the main characters get on my nerves. I get that they are all suppose to be outrageously quirky, but it's just painful to watch the wife and all the scenes at home (among others). The show flips back and for between lighthearted banter to serious issues like infidelity, inappropriate teacher/child relationships, etc. and it drives me nuts. I think I'm giving it one more week and then I might be done with it.

Same here. I just can't get hooked on it. The performances are great, but the story, blah... :( I'm kinda disapointed about it.

I think the whole show is supposed to be very tongue in cheek and a bit over the top - kind of how the early episodes of Desperate Housewives were....and I think the deal with the infidelity storyline is that they make music teacher's wife so heinous the viewer *wants* him to find something better. But yeah, in the episode I watched I found that bizarre - like wait a minute, am I supposed to be rooting for him to cheat on his wife?

I watched the other episodes I hadn't seen today (found them online) and it's a funny show. The inappropriate factor doesn't bother me (the push it song etc) but I don't perceive it as being a kid show.

I love Glee, too! None of my friends watch it, I don't know what is wrong with them. It is so funny  and I love the soundtrack.

See, at first I found Wifey heinous-ish, but in the last ep, I felt myself sympathizing with her.

Of course, lying to her DH abt being pg is a horrible thing to do, but I can understand why she would if she is that fixated on becoming pg, kwim? She was trying to 'fix' it by becoming pg the old-fashioned way and she wasn't going to say anything to his parents (he's the one that blabbed that). She might very well have confessed if he hadn't backed her into a corner, as it were, by telling his parents.

Now in the trailer for the next ep, it looks like Sissy Dearest is going to be a bad influence on her, but that happens IRL, too.

I don't think School Counselor is all that irresistable, either. Sure, she's cute and Matty's biggest fan (BTDT, but not of a married guy, of course), but she's trying to get over it by faux-dating Gym Teacher. She could be throwing herself at Matty, but she isn't.

I dunno. I hope this makes sense. I guess I'm just saying that I think that particular love triangle is very true to life. Matty hasn't done anything inappropriate, and I don't think the writers will have him do so; that would definitely dampen his likeability factor. He's the teacher sponsor of the freakin' glee club for pete's sake; he can't be some adulterous bad boy.

*lol* I am way too invested in this show, eh?
