what's your story..

ok um..about me

I'm slowly becoming a hermit..I HATE leaving my house. I haven't even been to Target in a couple weeks!

I loved watching "Solid Gold" in the 80's and wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer when I grew up!!! ROFL.

Sharon, Donny Osmond was my first crush! And I wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer too. :D

I have been to 24 states but never out of the Continental US.

Kristin... guinea pig? Really?!! I've had chocolate covered crickets, alligator, and snake but I don't think I could eat guinea pig!

I am loving reading about everyone, keep it going!

Facts about me: I was born on my mum's birthday.
My dad committed suicide in June last year.
I was never a cat person, until my bf and I got our two babies.
I would love to live in Brooklyn... purely based on the amount of thrift stores.
My first kiss was to a boy that later became my cousin :S - His auntie and my uncle got married a year later (and the divorced 3 years and 2 kids later).

Oh, Ebs! I'm sorry... sadly, I know how that feels. My mom committed suicide when I was 10. So when you hear me say "My mom" today, that's actually my mom's best friend who stepped in to be a big part of my life when I was 14 (and ran away from my psycho dad). LOL!

I was going to say that the most interesting thing is that I played rugby in college. But now I've probably given you two interesting things about me. Ding, ding! I win! :D

Hmm... Can't think of anything really interesting. My husband and I own a video game store... but that's not real interesting.

Well, ok, I can think of a couple interesting things about me, but I cannot reveal them... LOL. Not here on a public forum :o

:D :D :D

My teenaged boys would find that very interesting ... and the first question they would want me to ask is: Do you sell used video games?

I'll be 25 in December and I know probably every word to Puppy Love. I know all about the Osmonds, and Leif Garrett, and all those teeny bopper stars.
My mother tortured me as a child...thank you VH1. lol
Honestly though I don't knock my mother or father for making me listen to different music growing up, I have a VERY eclectic taste for music. Everything from classical & Big Band with Glenn Miller to Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie.

I guess that could be my interesting fact. lol

But I kinda have another that I find interesting, My mother had me at 25, my grandmother had her at 25 and now I will have my first baby 25. (My mother isn't the first born but she was my grandmother's first daughter)

hmmm does that make Puppy Love a classic then? :p

No idea who Rob Zombie is ... but I'm thinking he doesn't play backup to the VeggieTales or Donny Osmond. :(

An interesting fact... I'm TERRIFIED of Jury Duty... I think it plays into all my anxieties about not liking to be alone, not liking new places, not liking to drive where I'm unfamiliar. But yeah, I'm very strange...

You aren't the only one ... I just KNOW it will be a murder trial and they will get out on a technicality and come after the jurors that tried to convict them!

Ebony - that is tough stuff for anyone, particularly a young chick like yourself. One piece of advice - don't let it define you. You are a nifty chick with a great attitude and have a lot to offer life, your dad's suicide will be part of your story but it shouldn't define your story.

Im a consultant for Scentsy Wickless Candles! I don't sell much- just enough to support my habit- I LOVE this stuff!

I've never heard of these candles ... do you use them on a warmer? I have always bought the Gold Canyon candles in a jar (with a wick) ... heat them up and pull out the wick ... and use them over and over again.

Oh how funny. Ok here is one about me ... I have my diary from that year ... and inside my diary is a postcard of the hotel Donny stayed in when he came to KC ... the news reported what floor he was staying on ... so I have a heart drawn on the room I thought he was in. LOL

Ok remind me NEVER EVER to eat at your house...I have a few food allergies ... and those items I was NEVER tested for (hmmm allergist didn't have a scratch test for crickets!) ... ewwwwwwwwwww :p

I met my boyfriend when I joined up with Mixed Touch Rugby. That was two years ago, we still play together on the same team :)

Well I used to be quite the happening chic...snuck into MTV Awards when I was 19 years old and bumped into Anthony Keidis (RHCP) and all I managed to say was, " Can I have a hug?" and got one. Best day of my life. Met a bunch of artists that night and partied with Lars from Metallica. Yah, it was fun. Umm, I have met Prince at a private party @ HOB in Hollywood. I thought he loved me but uh, turns out I was just dreaming because he welcomed us in the club but than he hung out in private room the entire time. And he is small, like tiny. Fought with Bud Bundy, I don't remember his real name, once at a club in Hollywood and he was a complete jerk. I did a lot of crazy stuff and wonder how I survived it all. I had fun though and would not change it for the world.

Oh, that's so cool! Yeah... I wouldn't ever play with the guys unless it was a touch match. Ouch! Wouldn't want to die. LOL!

I'm a Disney freak. We just spent 4 nigths/5 days at Disney & I'm already looking forward ot our next trip (which will be in three years.... is it bad I'm counting?)

Another Disney freak here! Been to all five castles:thumbup: And yes, we're counting until we make our next Disney trip too.

I spent 5 days in Vegas....same time as Ebs's boyfriend and NEVER ONCE ran into him! I guess it's not a small world afterall! :p and you know I was looking for an Orlando look alike!:p

I know all the words to Ludacris' 'Moneymaker.'

I recently found out that I am related to a famous late 1800s Irish writer for the 'Boston Globe.'

I don't think Brad Pitt is cute.

I met and got autographs and a photograph with the country group Sugarland because one of my digi friends is friends with Kristian's wife.

Whenever something embarrassing happens to the main character(s) on TV or in a movie, I put my hands over my eyes or over my ears until that part of the scene is over. It happens before I even realize it.

I asked for my first camera as a birthday present when I was 8. My parents got me a Kodak Disc that took the worst photos, but I loved it. Even though I've loved photography most of my life, I don't want a DSLR. I'm already lugging around 3 kids; I can't imagine adding a DSLR to my load!

yes- you "warm" them in one of our GORGEOUS warmers that are run off of a 25 watt light bulb. I used to be a yankee candle snob until I found Scentsy.

I was in the marching band in college for about 3 weeks until I decided that waking up @ 6 am to go march on the field just wasn't cutting it for my idea of college life!
