The Walking Dead..(spoilers)

Well, I've had hunter's safety - so I know how to handle a gun, but shooting? Well, lets just say I cannot be good at everything I do. :)

Yeah...because I have not had ANY harebrained freak out situations all the years we've been together... :) Dude is my mental rock. :)

Oh and after Sunday's Episode and being PISSED at Carl - he was the one that told me "it's just a show, Steph."
 
LOL we HAVE them, they just live in the hills :p

and I could shoot and survive in the ZA, don't think ya'll southern girls are the only badasses :p

I so badly wanted to watch this show - but I missed a bunch of the early episodes. Does anyone know of a way to get caught up - beside watch them on iTunes? I need a more affordable option...

i love the show. i felt sorry for Dale. poor guy. what an awful way to go.

and Carl needs his ass whooped lol. and yes, PLEASE don't let your child wander off during a zombie apocalypse lol.

I rented them from my local Family Video (for a $1!) and then caught up on a marathon. They are on OnDemand if you have cable or at least in my area they are.

We are at my parents house and I screamed. My mom who had to go to work that night woke up and wasn't too happy with me. It was scary! I wasn't expecting it. Usually I can tell what's going to happen, but that...nope. Didn't see it coming!

I was complaining about Carl and that's what Dh had to remind me. It is a different world, he's going to act out. Things are completely different than what we are used to here.

He's just angry and dealing. I think as long as the dynamic between Shane and Rick are uncertain, so will his actions. He needs a strong leader, one who will guide him back to his softer, more caring side.

DH has read all the comic books and I keep asking "is this in the comic books?" He's still baffled that Shane is still alive, since they killed him off early in the comic books. So I guess they aren't following the books too much if he can't tell me what's going to happen next! LOL

Brooke, those photos....hysterical!! I showed them to DH and he loved them!
 
I am kinda just starting this show. I missed the entire first season and picked up a bit before this last break. When it started last week I was very confused as to who and why there beating up the guy at the beginning of the show can someone catch me up?

Also my neighbor in real life is terrified that there is going to be a Zombie out break. They even installed a "zombie" door in their back yard fence so they can escape through it if necessary....ummm k
 
Ok I looked it up online and I freaking missed an episode while in hawaii and it didn't record on my DVR so the one I had and thought was the new one wasn't! Grrrrr no wonder I am so lost!
 
This car was in front of me at the McDonalds drive thru one day last summer - I had to snap a pic! I have no idea where that magnet came from, tho! :D:D

It's about time!

And not because of the shocker, in itself, but the shows are finally starting to pick up - I know the first half of the season was pretty slim because they hadn't been picked up yet and were running on a pretty small budget, and once they were given the green light, they were able to do a little more, but the first few episodes were still so-so for us.

And today I will say, someone needs to lock that boy up! :D
 
OMG last night's show! I didn't see that coming, but my ANNOYING DH looked at spoilers and then gave me that "I know something you don't know" look randomly throughout the show. I hate that! I'm always like, "Don't look at me! If you give something away I'm going to kill you!"

I'm not one of those people who dislike characters on shows because I figure if they're annoying then they're acting their role really well. The only time I dislike characters is when they're bad actors, lol! I liked Shane! BUT, the whole power struggle thing was getting old. Anyone agree?
 
I was like WHAT is going ON???? Total shocker..they got me..two weeks in a row!! But the whole time that Rick and Shane were in that standoff I was thinking...how would they ever reconcile this..no way could Shane go back to the group..but I thought he'd head off and join the other group or something..no way did I see that coming.

and CARL..good grief they need to lock that kid in a room..and the fact that he nailed Shane right in the head in the dark like that.. yeah I'm sure that would have really happened lol
 
At some point they would've had to have split, Nikki, because you can't have 2 alpha males like the two of them always fighting each other over control and Laurie. And Shane has lasted much longer in the series than he did in the comic, so he got a little more screen time than originally written.

Traci - btw...the actor who plays Shane got the main character gig in the new series, LA Noir - so you can still see him later!

See, DH was a fan of the comic before we started watching the show so this entire season he's been wondering when that standoff would happen. They did let him hang around a lot longer then the comic did... and I'm glad. He was an interesting character!!

Also, Carl is driving me nuts.

Lastly, what does it mean that the virus is obviously airborne? How can the world ever get better if people turn into zombies just by dying? There is truly no hope now.
 
And it seems to be happening quicker...like when Andrea's sister died it took her several hours to zombify...and then Shane popped up in like 5 minutes.

Excellent observation! I didn't even think of that... wow, you're right. Hm. I wonder if they will eventually turn into Zombies without even dying. :blink:
 
Wow. I just thought that...well, that that would not happen!
The whole running into the tree thing made my stomach turn. And next week - well, this will be a cliff hanger I am sure. WTF are they doing in the woods? How did they get there? Was is the cattle that lured them there? Soooo many questions.

Nikki - skimmed the articles. Interesting that there was supposed to be one more death last night. :? I really liked the producer's article.

That's what I've been wondering. Also, why does this new way of contracting the virus only show up after the person dies???? Also, when Shane stabbed those walkers when he was in the bus, how did he not contract it, because he cut his hand with the same knife he was using earlier to stab the dang things.
 
Love this show... So sad there's only one more episode for the season. I'm just glad it wasn't Darryl as he's my fave. I'm wondering if everyone who dies now will become zombies (like the airborne thing) or if it ha to do with exposure. Shane has been slowly changing into someone different if you ask me, so maybe it has something to do with amount of exposure to walkers OR a good vs. bad thing? Bad guys who die turn walker? Anyway, saw this on Insane in the Mom Brain's Facebook and it cracked me up do I had to share....darn can't upload from my phone. Look at her wall this morning I guess. :)
 
i LOVED Shane!! *sniff* he was an ass at times.....but he was a HOT ass lmao!!! but that feud between the two was getting old.

and Carl annoys me too.

and i'm very curious about the virus; how did it come to be, why is it evolving, is there any hope of eradicating it...etc etc.

this is the first season i have watched btw. i wasn't aware there were other seasons until i was halfway through last season so oh well lol. wonder if Xfinity on Demand has all the seasons.....
