The Hunger Games--who's going?

...and I'll get lambasted for this one, Kim - skip Twilight and stick with Harry :D :D:D:D

Now I will add that I HAVE read the first book and have watched a few of the Harry Potter movies.....a LONG time ago when my oldest was in grade school (he is in college now). We do have most of them in the basement so maybe I will dig them out!! Our life now is just board books...Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, and so much more! LOL

I called my mom and asked her if she knew what Hunger Games was....SHE DID! I feel really out of it now! My mom even knew! LMAO!!

I'll be seeing it, but not for a few weeks. My mother and sister want me to go see it with them, but it has to be on a weekend because DH doesn't come from work until it's too late to go and I don't know if they want to go on a weekend. If I don't go with them, I will go with my hubby.

I'm definitely going, but not sure when or with whom, lol. DH said he'd go with me, but I don't think he'll like it. The only thing is I need to find someone to watch the 5 kiddies first. I cannot wait to see it though!

I'm going on a girls' scrapbook weekend this weekend, so I won't be going this weekend but I'm definitely going to see it, even if I have to sneak out of work one day!

I literally just got back 10 minutes ago from watching it with the hubs and some friends--it is AMAZING!!! Jennifer Lawrence IS Katniss! OMG I was seriously so blown away! Granted I don't remember every detail of the book, but I was really, really impressed with how it all looked :D

The hubs was not impressed with the citizens of Panem. "They look like vampiric Dr Seuss chracters!" :D

Hehe - I just said to hubby earlier this afternoon, "So, I know this girl who would think it was so extremely cool if her husband maybe took her to dinner but for-sure took her to see The Hunger Games this weekend." He said we could go Saturday night!!! (I should probably advance-buy our tickets, huh?

Just back from it, and I LOVED it! But I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to movies that were books :D. Will have to see it again!

Taking my 13 y/o daughter to see it on Sunday. I don't know who is more excited -- her or me. LOL
