Saturday night!!! Eeeeeeee! I'm so excited. Seriously, I have not been THIS excited about a movie in a long time. DH and I have date night set up with the grandparents.
I'm going with my BFF here as my last time with her before we move. But it doesn't come over to SK untill next weekend. Even then we have to travel two hours to go see it. But we are both HG nerds so we are taking the bus up there to go see it!
I'm going this weekend! My sister is visiting me and she was the one who asked me to read the books 3 years ago but I didn't pick it up will my son forced me to read them this year! LOL So, I'm taking my kids, her boys and my brother's boys.. that's 2 of us and 7 kids! LOL
My son is also going for midnight show with his friends. Three of his teachers are going for midnight show with them.
My parents will be visiting this weekend, so I was all excited about going and dragging DH along. But it's looking like there are so many family activities this weekend that we aren't going to be able to get away long enough to see a movie I have no idea when I'll get to see it now, and I doubt I'll be able to bring DH. I think he'd like the books but he doesn't want to give them a chance. The movie was my 1 shot to convince him. Oh well. At least the delay will give me a chance to reread it (for the 3rd time) before going.
We're going but it won't be until next weekend. My goddaughter turned 1 today and we're having a birthday party for her Saturday and Sunday we have plans, I just don't remember what they are at the moment. LOL I really want to see it soon so I can finally read the books.
Cheyanne and I are going sometime but probably not this weekend. I've never read them so I'll read the first book this weekend and we'll go one day next week.
I'm not sure I want to talk about the extent of my nerddom. But ... I'm going. 3x. Tonight at midnight, alone, because the theatre is 20 steps from my house and I've always wanted to go to a midnight premier and never have. Saturday night with James, and next Saturday with Nathan To say I'm excited would be an understatement at this point.
Saturday is my anniversary and we have a concert in the evening, so we're probably going that afternoon as the kids will be with grandma. I tried getting hubby to read it but he just started and not sure I can wait until he's done. SO excited! Would wearing my Mockingjay pin be too much?
I'd like to go see it while the kids are at school, that's really dh and I's only chance to get out without them but we'll see if I can talk him into it. He already understands that I love the Twilight movies, and plans to already see them the day they come out(and he's pretty excited that there's only one more I'm going to be dragging him to), but he doesn't quite think I should be as obsessed with these movies yet! I think he'd enjoy The Hunger Games a LOT more than he does Twilight, though!
I'm going! I think I'm going to go on Saturday but I'm not sure yet. I know DH has a baseball game to umpire on Friday night and 2 on Saturday but I don't know what time on Saturday.
DD and I really, really want to go. She loved the books (me too). DH works all weekend so we'll have to wait until next week so he can hang with the squirt while we go.
my book club girls and I are going friday night...super excited. Then, I'll probably have to take Kylie in the next week or so, since I convinced her to read the books
Ummmm....not me (backs in a corner for what I am about to say.......) DH and I are SO out of it....we didn't even know what Hunger Games was about and had to look it up a while ago. I know.....we are pathetic, sad and have NO life outside of diapers, Dr. Seuss and other children's books.
I am so embarrassed to even admit it........sigh.....
But along the same lines...I haven't gotten into Harry Potter or Twighlight either.....maybe one of these days I will actually read and watch the Twighlight series.......
I am sure we will once it in 6 months when it comes out of video b/c all we get to see are children's animated movies at the theater...and that is usually once a year! LOL
Our cruise departs on Sunday afternoon out of Galveston. so we wil be making the long trip through all of Texas tomorrow and Saturday. I will totally be dragging my hubs into the movie threature once we finally arrive on Saturday evening. He said we could go tonight, but the nearest theature in an hour away and I am just too old for that stuff. I've totally convinced him that he's going to LOVE this movie and hope he at least likes it. Haha.
