Hit me with it! What's on your bingo card this summer??

If you put the Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum on that list, let me know. I live in that town and could meet up with you. It is worth the visit! Then a little over an hour south of me is the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum that I hear is fantastic.I have a list of things around Ohio that I'm working on seeing.
Those sound great! I'll have to add them to my list. I think the closest I was to you was when I visited the Caverns which is about an hour away.If you put the Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum on that list, let me know. As for me, bucket list trip #1: Canadian Rockies by train. Leave in 13 days!
Bucket list trip #2: Trip through the Painted Canyons aka Utah national parks happens in Sept.
Genealogy research trip to Ft. Wayne the end of June.
Otherwise, not much. Could possibly do other things if something comes up that I'm interested in.
This area of the state has some great things considering it is more rural. People who enjoy boating are lucky in that they have 2 great options relatively close. One about 15 minutes, the other about 30 minutes away. And, if you enjoy football, a tour of the Wilson Factory in Ada is a must! I went there in March and it was so neat getting to watch how the footballs are made for the NFL and learning the history of the company. And, history buffs can visit county museums that highlight the history of the county. Saw the Hardin County museum the same day as Wilson. My county actually has several museums located in different towns in the county. There is a pretty neat historical museum in Lima that highlights Allen County. It has an authentic Conestoga Wagon that brought early settlers to the county from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I am a descendant of that family (along with many others in Allen and Auglaize counties, they had a large family who each also had large families (Auglaize county was originally a part of Allen county along with several others). Quite the rich history here which includes Native American. Those sound great! I'll have to add them to my list. Have fun on your trips!
