Could I pass you the recipe of 'Brazilian Lemonade'? Do you know that already? It's easy to do and
delicious. I think it's a very different way to make lemonade from yours, i don't know, and by
different I mean
weird LOL, but I sure you that's absolutely fantastic, specially for summer time. I.miss.my.lemonade
I hope I can translate this right. LOL Here I go:
Serves 4. But you better be ready to do more
4 limes
1 cup of sugar
6 cups of cold water
6 table spoons of sweetened condensed milk (What?!? Yes, just wait for it... LOL) - - I googled it! hehee
LOTS OF ICE.
You need to wash carefully the limes b/c you'll use it with the peel (What?!? Shhhh! LOL). Here in Brazil we wash these kind of things, fruits, some vegetables, even our hands with coconut bar soap. We use it in the kitchen and laundry a lot.

I think you can use some hand soap and you'll be fine)
Cut the limes in slices
Mix the water with the sugar
Put half of the lime and half of the water (which you already mixed with the sugar) on your blender and pulse (like a 7 times...)
Use a fine strainer (I needed to goggle this) over a pitcher (and this too) and use a spoon to press the liquid.
Repeat with the another half of limes and water.
Mix it all and add the sweetened condensed milk.
You need to serve immediately over lots of ice. This doesn't keep well, b/c the lime turns bitter. If this turned bitter, just add more sugar and/or a little more sweetened condensed milk.
This is GREAT for summer time! Children here like this a lot!
In another opportunity I can teach you to make
caipirinhas (lit'rally means "lil' country girls") - the most famous drink of Brazil - to adults only.
xoxo
