Show Me Your COVID-19 Layouts

I was able to get a shot of me in full PPE today at work. The picture is blurry because my phone has to be wrapped up in a heavy-duty zip-top bag while in the OR

This is my sister-in-law:

Went shopping this week for the first time in weeks. I've been doing the online shopping then parking lot pickup once a week. But, Monday, after I picked up the order, I stopped at another store on the way home. My online order was short numerous things. Sat there for a few minutes in the parking lot wondering if I would actually go in. Finally put on my makeshift fabric layers (with coffee filter in the middle) mask and went inside. Didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked. Especially of all the people with masks. (Not that there were a ton of people there.) Did take pics of some of the empty shelves.

Since the lockdown we've been videochatting with Viviane, a friend of my boyfriend who became my friend as well. We always videochat with a little drink (coctail). We videochat using WhatsApp, so it's called WhatsApperitief.

we did a Teddy bear hunt a couple of weeks ago. My youngest really wanted to do this, so I thought it was a good idea to do while we walk our puppy...

It's not always easy to keep a child busy (besides school work) during a lockdown. We go outside, but not too often and not too long. So since the lockdown, Malouke (my boyfriends' daughter) is starting to enjoy the Harry Potter movies. She was never really a fan of Harry Potter, but she has seen the first 5 movies so far.

Love seeing everyone's pages and how we're all documenting this crazy, unprecedented situation!

Here's one about celebrating my birthday during quarantine:

Scrapping our "new normal" and what a typical day under quarantine looks like:

And one about how I'm attempting to stay in contact with friends through video chats, Zoom, etc.

Passport to Wellness: #14. Currently : Reflecting on...
Weekly page about the coronavirus. Already the fifth week of the lockdown last week. The journal is about good, the bad... the numbers in Belgium and the world. How many people died, are in hospital, or are released from the hospital.
I scrap weekly pages to recap what happened the week before.

We went for a bike ride (and came across this beautiful windmill) on Sunday. It's about the only thing we are allowed to do outside at this moment.

So many inspirational pages here! I definitely need to do more. I came across a post on fb that might be beneficial for some of you to get newspaper stories related to Covid-19.

You can go to the NYTimes here, put in the date, then scroll down to the right and click on the image below "Today's Front Pages" to save as a pdf.

Also, going forward (because I can't figure out how to access older dates), you can go here to get front pages from papers all over.

I'm going to have one of these monthly pages for every month this goes on. These are the free pandemic timeline download cards from Persnickety Prints, I just popped them into my layout instead of having them printed as cards. Have January, February, and March so far, waiting for the April download.

I decided to snag some images off Google because I didn't take a lot of pictures when this was first starting, and I thought, why not make a page dedicated to a few of the memes out there because there have been so many.

I did a "What Changed" layout dedicated to the way our daily life habits changed because of stay-at-home orders (no haircuts, distance learning, travel etc). I'll probably do a companion "What Stayed The Same" layout, still deciding what I want to do for that.

And I had to scrap about what I'm doing during this stay-at-home period to keep myself sane.

I still have plans for a summary page about the virus, and a layout about the grocery stores and panic buying. Otherwise at this point, that part in my 2020 album is wide open and I'll decide what else to add as the ideas strike.

I decided to revisit this thread to see all the lovely layouts that were done in the beginning of the pandemic. Wanted a little inspiration for pages I've been putting off.

I have been scrapping a monthly page using the PP timeline and lots of information about Ohio and specifically my county. I had always planned to do other layouts and am now starting on them. First up was "WineWithDeWine".

So my question is this... are you still scrapping pages about the pandemic or have you just moved on to other stuff?

I am still scrapping about the pandemic. We are in a second lockdown and I am scrapping about the measures the government is taking. And I am scrapping about the numbers of cases in my country and in the world. They are mostly photoless layouts.

I'm still making journaling notes and screenshotting pandemic news, but I haven't begun scrapping it yet. I scrap one year at a time, and right now I'm still working on 2019. (If I didn't do it like that I'd always have multiple years in progress and would never be done and able to print.)

I've decided that when I get to 2020 I'm going to do a few spreads each month focused on the pandemic and political happenings. Essentially my 2020 Project Life will all be current events instead of family news and photos. There's so little of the latter this year that I'll want those all to be on their own 12x12's, not in a busy pocket page.

Love to see all these wonderful layouts! Mine are not fancy at all, but "just the facts".

Besides my 11 monthly timeline layouts, I've got 5 more about various topics from mask wearing to "in the news". Still have more I want to do.

This is my one and only layout so far - I do want to document this time, I just struggle with scrapping things that aren't my kids lol
