Show Me Your COVID-19 Layouts

These are the two I've done so far. Mostly about feelings. I need to do one with all the news!!

During this crazy coronavirus crisis we all have to stay at home. I work from home and when I've finished for the day, I love to take an evening walk. Last week, I could witness some beautiful sunsets.

Since I'm working from home during this pandemic, I've created a work space for my own and scrapped about it.

I've done quite a few. Some are a lot more obvious than others. Just trying to capture the whole gamut of what I've been feeling. Scrap therapy is awesome. ;)

Oh my goodness, these are SO good! So far, I've just journaled about it in my regular PL pages & made one about our evacuation day. The pages here are so inspiring!! Need to really get a handle on my distance teaching responsibilities & routines so I can get more of these pages done while the feeling are still fresh!

I'm still getting so emotional. The one minute I'm fine and the next I can burst into tears. It's just too much sometimes. My work takes up a lot of time and it really stresses me out.

We try to do a lot of fun activities during this corona pandemic. She's playing with my ministeck from when I was a child. My mom kept it in the attic for over 20 years. Now she's having fun with it. Our first project was an owl.

I have been away for a bit, but in all this turmoil, I REALLY needed an outlet for everything that's been going on. I rarely document much about my work, or current events... I'm busy enough and never really find the time, or the inclination. But now, what I do as a healthcare professional has been thrust in the spotlight, and here we are. I have quite a few more in different stages of coming along. Some about work. Some about going to work and then coming home to pretend to be a teacher to 2 small kids. Some about trying to sob in peace until I find inspiration to get up and go to work again. Bear with me! But here are my 2 first ones

and this one, about the lack of proper PPE.

As a quick PSA, if you happen to have ANY PPE (surgical masks, N95s, surgical gowns, gloves, visors... ) Please, please PLEASE consider donating it to your local health department/hospital/doctor. We are all facing very, very, VERY frightening shortages, which will mean, in very plain terms, that doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers will have to chose between caring for patients and caring for themselves by foregoing treating patients. Some are already there. Don't stop to think.. "It's only 2 masks, it's not enough to make a difference"... to the person receiving those 2 masks, it might be the difference between going home to their family or never going home at all.

I work from home now and when I'm done working I just have to get out for a walk. Last Tuesday, we went to a nearby park. I took some pictures of the old castle in the park.

This is a photo that my mom's neighbor shared, that my mother said I needed to scrap. So I scrapped the Navy Ship coming in to port at NYC

We are doing our part by staying indoors and enjoying family as much as we can, especially with a child who was college-bound but was called home due to the virus

Staying indoors can be hard, but harder for people who deal with mental illness or just can't handle being inside. There are a lot of people asking how their friends/family are with not being able to socialize, get out of the house, etc. So this is my check-in on how I'm doing social distancing from friends/family/neighbors/etc.

How are YOU doing??

here are mine so far....
I did this one yesterday with pictures taken yesterday, with the exception of the empty grocery shelves, that was taken a couple of weeks ago on my last shopping trip.

this was my first one.

Story about how I experienced the third week of the lockdown last week. The good, the bad...

Me sitting through another meeting basically outlining we don't have enough ressources, and have no real clue how to proceed. Great way to start the morning let me tell you!

I feel like I only scrap coronavirus (or anything that has something to do with this pandemic) these days.
Some photos of one of my daily walks. I need to get out of the house for a small walk from time to time. It keeps me sane. Luckily we are still allowed to do that.

We did a little RAK a few days ago. They were picking up the garbage (paper and cardboard) today. During these crazy corona-times, these people are one of the people who keep the country going, so we decided to give them a little treat. (non-alcoholic beer).

I think this represents just how I'm feeling, having good days and bad days.

I'm mainly documenting facts, figures...

I have done some pages on how it impacts us personally too (for my albums).

My week in review page about last week. With the latest numbers and measures in Belgium.

During the lockdown we're trying out new recipes and improving our old favorites. We've been baking and cooking a lot lately.
