Brodo gettin her Swerb on
WOOT! Ok so the other day I posted about Donna Downey's Inspiration Journals. Then I went off to try and make my own. I finished it last night, and while it isn't perfect, it is DANG cute!! I'm going to make a TON of them, cuz I bought more fabric last night when I stopped at Joann's to get the pretty big button
Those bundles of fabric for quilting are PERFECT. I think I can get 3 pieces out of each one, and there are usually 4 or 5 pieces in a bunch. I like putting the 2 together like in this one, so that would be 12-15 books from $10 or less of fabric! The cover is pretty filmsy, so for my next one I'm gonna try cutting up an old t-shirt and seeing if that helps stabilize it. Otherwise I'll go get some more fabric or some thin batting to put inside.
Anyway, I'm rambling. The project really wasn't that hard. I made a few mistakes, but I think it's dang cute for my first attempt, lol. And now I know what everyone is getting for Christmas presents
ETA: There are 14 sheets of paper, so it's 28 pages.
