Help!! I'm doing a 12x12 layout for my sister-in-law. The pictures she sent me are 72 ppi. When I open the picture in PSE 7, they show to be about 14" wide by 11" high. BUT..when I drag them onto my 12x12 lo, they are only about 3 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" high. I'm thinking this has to do with the 72ppi right?
What I did, was resize the image size and then changed the picture to 300 ppi. That enlarged it but it did pixilate it a bit as well. But, when I then dragged this resized picture to my lo and dragged the corners to resize the picture smaller, it seemed to help and it appears less pixilated.
I'm afraid that when we go to print, however, it won't look as good printed as it does on my screen. I enlarged the size of my lo on my screen so that 1" on my screen is about 1" in real life so I can see what it looks like and it isn't too bad.
Does this make sense? Is there another way of going about this?
