so tell us cindy - what eventually worked?? hehe!
Lucas just turned 2 and isn't near ready - and is frightened of the toilet so we are going to get him a little potty to get used to it at least. He hates when he is dirty though and knows when he poops so at least that is a good thing.
Lily potty trained just before she was 3 - santa left her panties in her stocking and from then on thats all she wanted! LOL![]()
remember being so frustrated by Landen's lack of "caring", but kept reminding myself that the chances of him graduation from HS or going out on his first date in a diaper were slim to none-and just let him set the pace, that is what is worked for us.
Hey Emmy -- what did you do to get them to go that first time?
This hasn't been an issue for me with kids #2, #3, or #4 - they just showed an interest after seeing an older sibling go and I stuck them on the potty. I don't think they all immediately understood how to start to pee - sometimes it happened by accident, sometimes they just got it - but I've not had to work at that part. Were I in your shoes, I would push drinks and stick him on the potty and see if I got lucky. Once they connect the dots (like they start peeing when they are sitting there and realize ooooh THAT's how I go...) they usually know how to go after that.
