remember my thread about my central air being on the fritz last week?...well as it always goes with deployments, this week it's my hot water heater. UGH!!
My favorite time of the day is after both kids are asleep, and I can have a nice hot hot bath. Well, last night I start my water running and you know how you hold your hand under the water and wait for it to run hot and then adjust it...well, it kept running and running, and I was kind of zoned out thinking about what all I needed to do before I went to bed and then realized after about 5 minutes that it was STILL COLD! NO HOT WATER!!! :cursing::cursing:
Seriously?! You know I just have to laugh about it b/c the last time Brian was deployed in our old house, the A/C and water heater died. So why not this time too?..it's like it's meant to be. I just hope I don't fall and break a foot like I did last time too lol
Anyway, my Daddy is coming over to fix it..he says it's probably just an element that's out..I'm not that optimistic..I'm envisioning having to have the entire thing replaced.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? I swear though after all that's I've been through this time around I could use a break. Thank goodness Brian will be home for a few days this weekend in case something else goes wrong.
Oh BTW...being the savvy military wife I am, I didn't miss out on my bath..It just took a little longer to fill the tub since I heated water on the stove lol!
