New to our Community?

Hello everyone!! I'm Kim and I'm a newbie to Sweet Shoppe but not to scrapping. I've been a paper scrapper forever (well almost) and have just moved to digital scrapping now that my oldest is in kindy (moving on to first grade next year). I'm working on his kindy book and doing a mixture of pocket scrapping and more traditional layouts. I've been spending all of my time and extra $$ downloading awesome kits and I've been enjoying looking at all of the inspiration pics. Nice to meet you!

Hi Florence! So glad you're here with us! I've changed your forum permissions, but you still may notice some strange things until you reach 10 posts. That will go away on its own once you hit that magic number of 10. The quickest way to do that is simply to leave some comments in the gallery!

well, I'm not new , actually am quiet old LOL in every sense (on digi land and by age!!!)
but as I haven't been posting regularly here, and we are coming in to show of Blaggy's wonderful new store, I thought I say hi as amongst the familiar faces I always see (when doing my GSO rounds) some new faces, (hyper talented people, I should add!!!)

People who know me know am not in very good health so sometimes isn't a possibility to be socializing or commenting a lot in the gallery, but I will try my very best...some of my top favorite artists are here and look forward to spend a bit more time around!!! :)

Huggzz to you all whom I love, and, if you don't know me and want to know anything...just ask away , as you can see...when I can type/talk...I do that... A LOT LOL
 
Hi, I've purchased on your site for years now, but I've never gotten involved in the challenges and forums, but I'd like to start because I NEED something to keep me on-top of my scrapbooking. I haven't even finished my 4 year old's 1st year and #2 is almost 2 already. So I am way behind and challenges always help me stay on the wagon. I tried to post in the Challenge FAQ forum last night, but it says I don't have permissions. Can someone help me?

Also, I just want to clarify something I read in the FAQ's - we are allowed to use products and kit but current SSD designers even if we purchased or obtained it from somewhere else (like Daily Digi or at one of their old shops on a different site)?
 
Hi there! I've got your forum permissions changed now, so you should have a little more freedom. We have some spam filters in place, so you may still notice some weird stuff until you reach 10 posts. That will go away automatically though. If you want to get your post count up quickly, you can comment in the gallery. :)

And yes! That's correct. Anything by a current designer is fair game... that includes freebies, retired products, or things that you got at their old stores or guest spots, etc.

Hi there, I was looking through the gallery and there are a lot of pretties I'd like to leave some love for, but I can't comment. :( The gallery is rocking though, and I hope I'd be able to comment on the gorgeous layouts soon enough. Thanks
 
Hi Everyone! I am not new to the gallery here, but I am new to the forums and I definitely am NOT new to the shoppe!!! :) Definitely my favorite place to do my shop therapy!

I am assuming that because I haven't posted anywhere before that is why I cannot edit my photos? Hoping to get some help there because I forgot to credit a fabulous designer :(

Hello everyone, I have been a paper scrapbooker for 20+ years. We just moved from VA to TX and I've decided that all my supplies and books just take up too much space and I'm ready to make the switch to trying digital scrapbooking. I just made a little purchase from the store and I'm looking forward to playing around with the digital supplies while I procrastinate unpacking boxes!!
 
Hi Jen! I was a paper scrapper for a long time before switching to digi, so I can say based on my experience that I think you'll love it! I haven't done a single paper layout since I tried digi back in 2006! LOL

Please feel free to make yourself at home here! I've changed your forum permissions, so you should be able to settle in a bit. You will probably still notice some strange stuff until you have 10 posts. That's an automatic spam filter that we have in place. If you'd like to reach that 10 posts quickly, you can just leave some comments in the gallery!

I joined the CT of a designer who has their products in SSD and this week, the first I published some pages in this beautiful gallery, but forgot to put some details in photo editing and would like to correct, how could I do that?!? Who can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome!

I changed your permissions in the forum, so you should be able to edit your gallery photos now. We still have some restrictions in place, but they will go away after you have 10 posts.

Hi there!

You'll actually want to change your avatar (I'm assuming you mean the little picture that shows in the posts?) Just click on "user CP" at the top left of the page. Then from there, choose "edit avatar" in the left-hand column.

Hi there!

You should be able to comment now. We have some spam filters in place for users with less than 10 posts. I've changed your permissions, so most of the restrictions should be lifted. There are still a few little weird things that will go away with 10 posts, but if you leave some comments in the gallery, that will help get your post count up quickly!
