My grampie is dying...[UPDATED on last post]

My grandfather was diagnosed with lung & lymph node cancer in March. He looked and sounded terrible when we saw him on Aug.30th. They gave him 2 days to live and those 2 days are up today. My parents called me and asked if I could come up soon because he has gone downhill really quickly so I'll be heading out tomorrow after dropping Kristen off at school. My ILs are going to take care of them for a few days. I really hoped he would beat the cancer. :crying:

Oh Jennifer I just went thru this with my Granny...she passed from colon cancer she was diagnosed in Feb...so it takes them quickly...I will send my thoughts & prayers up for you....(((HUGS)))

Ugh, I'm so sorry Jennifer. :( I know it's not much of a consolation now, but my grandfather suffered for a few years with cancer. Many older people who get cancer just aren't strong enough to beat it.

I'm so sorry :( Try and find some solace in knowing that his suffering will be over soon. ((((((hugs)))))))

((hugs)) I know how you're feeling, that was how it was with my grandma, they gave her an estimate time and then it happened 4 days later. ((hugs)) it's an evil evil disease if you need to talk just holler at me hun!!

I'm so sorry Jennifer. {{Hugs}}

I lost my grandfather in 2001 and it was so hard to watch him deteriorate. :(

I'm so sorry. I have been through this a few times myself so I know what you are going through. {{{Hugs}}} to you and prayers for your family.
