January 2019: Passport Inspiration Portal

For the typography challenge. The font seemed kind of 'teenage boy' to me, so I figured I'd use it for the title on this layout. Those of you who have watched my kids grow up in layouts, can you believe the changes in this kid??

I didn't know there was a national bird day, but I sure love my birds! I never thought I'd like having chickens. Now I find myself collecting them!

#8 Quote

The quote went wonderfully with my One Little Word for 2019. I was so excited to scrap this layout. Most of it is Melissa Bennett's "I am" kit, but there are a few other SSD pieces thrown in (and the paper doll from a former SSD designer, Krystal Hartley, that I just had to add to this layout - the wings were from a Studio Basics kit (as is the word strips).

OK - so I'm a little (actually, a lot) apprehensive about posting my layouts in here. You people are so talented! I am feeling like I did when I was teaching 9th grade Honors English. Those kids were smarter than me and everyone knew it! But here goes:

#12. Composition :

#15. Color :

#16. Rewind / Flashback :

Your layouts are amazing and I am just awed by the #16 Rewind --- beautiful journaling and I love the design.

Don't feel shy about posting your pages here. Theyou are beautiful! Especially love the third one.

My newest page, for #3, Featured Designer challenge. I took my inspiration from Grace's interview on the blog. The stunning layout that she shared when they asked her for her most recent layout really inspired me to create this page. I loved the floral design with the really soft colors and soft photos.

I love this new idea of the thread of inspirations for the Passport! I've enjoyed scrolling through as I prep to make a new layout.
I agree with the other ladies that the passport book is hard to refer to on it's own to complete the challenges. I too made a text file with notes corresponding to the passport numbers so I didn't have to keep opening the website...I think 100 of the views of the FAQ thread are mine lol!
I really REALLY love this idea of the Passport Book so we're not locked into a particular pattern on a bingo card, but just some constructive critique -maybe the book could be a little less elaborate so the squares could be bigger to see the layouts?
Perhaps the numbers could be in order now, unless there's a behind-the-scenes reason for the mixed up nature (such as spot #10 will always be a font?)
To kick things off I did #10 Typography challenge. That fun font said "NEW YEARS" to me...
