Deanna,
You are so creative. I love your layouts! Are your looking for a creative type job? Are you submitting a paper resume, or one on line? On-line resume submission can really drain all the life out of a resume, but if you are sending a paper resume, you can use your talent to really rock it. It can be subtle, like adding a paper background and fading it out a bit. Or you can use about an inch area on the left to anchor resume titles, like education, work history, etc... and place background in that section. If it is a more traditional job, and using layout papers is not comfortable to you, select a good quality paper, try to find one with a watermark in it, in a color other than white. This will help your resume stand out a bit.
I hope this helps.. good luck on your job hunting!
