Okay, don't die of shock, but I actually just went and started a little PINTEREST account, lol.

Mostly based on hearing that there were tons of the Elf on the Shelf ideas, that was the kicker for me...

...and when Jen said she organizes everything on there, I had never really gotten into it, but now, I'm pretty excited! Looks like fun! :)

Pumpkin Cheesecake looks divine and is taking up a large portion of my fridge. Chocolate Pecan pie is looking like a dud, lol.

Anyone gearing up to do Black Friday shopping? We're electronics shopping, maybe getting a new printer and laptop. DH's laptop is completely fried and I might get to have a new one
 
Oooh, exciting Jen! We're not going shopping. Not really anything we need. I think the only thing worth going out for is electronics, anyway.
 
Well today was the end of semester for me and I have 3 sets of results so far which are all B's at this point, will receive the last one mid next week for Psychology

Academic Study Skills (aka English) - 79.75%
Maths for Nursing - 85.55% (Have a chance to up my grade next week to an A)
Sociology - 78.5%

Have one more distinction maths test to do on tuesday, I receive my psych marks for a presentation and exam on wednesday then I have 2 interviews end of next week/beginning of the following week for next semester.

I won't be doing any Black Friday shopping in stores... The fact that they are all two hours away kinda cancels out most of any real want. Plus, I hate shopping and crowds. I am seriously thinking about taking advantage of Apple's Black Friday and ordering my new iMac. I think they are $101 off or something. :thumbup: I keep going back and forth on it. I know I'm going to buy it and have the money, so it's probably time to pull the trigger.

I've spent the last three evenings with family and still have the next two days. I love this time of year! :)
 
I'm not shopping tonight either! It sure seems like the TV commercials have gotten really aggressive about it, but running around town in the middle of the night, battling the crowds just isn't all that appealing. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop, but not in the middle of the night. :closedeyes:
 
Only actual shopping I did today was for groceries, lol. Everything else was online! We decided to just go with the HP boxed set, new printer, and we're holding off on the photoshop upgrade since its on sale through christmas.

just sorta funny that we have cute Jen posting when her screename is "neverending" and how this thread will never end! haha. Yep, this thread will never end!
 
Slept late, missed all the Black Friday sales. Seriously, I think they are getting a little crazy. This year, they started at 11 pm, apparently. Next year, will they be during the dinner hour? :unsure:
 
Yeah, I am not impressed with stores opening on Thanksgiving on Black Friday. I'm not impressed at all.

I just ordered myself an 27 inch iMac. I'm so excited/ completely freaked out that I spent all that money. Gulp. :blink:
 
So this thread is now at 82 pages and as far as I can remember, this is my first time posting. Maybe I am the thread killer?
 
nope, not the thread killer terra!

I bought less than we thought we would, but we're happy with the end decision. Now it's time to shift to Christmas mode and start work on December Daily...DH has agreed to help me with this since I want to really document everything this year!
 
Sorry Terra, no chance you'll be the threadkiller ;)

Got most of my cooking done...and with very little stress! It's gonna be a good day tomorrow!
