must do laundry, pack, go nursing bra shopping (shudder) and go to the library today... I soooo don't want to even leave the house, sigh...
 
I'm making Jordan go out at lunch. I can NOT deal with the heat at lunchtime anymore to go run errands. It makes me instantly sick.
 
I think I'm taking the kids to their first adventure to a library. They have kids storytime this afternoon. And we have to go to the bank, grocery store & the post office.
 
I wanted to take my kids to the lake, but damn the luck it started raining...Murphy's Law and it's only 58 degrees with the high of 61!
 
Having a bad day at work. I'll be glad when I get home and can snuggle my kid, read a book and have dinner with the family. Not necessarily in that order.
 
sorry you are having a bad day Kate and sorry Jordan is being a butt Col~ we just finished having breakfast and we didn't celebrate Peyton's actual bday{yesterday} but are going ot have cake and ice cream and presents tomorrow night :) does that make me a bad mom? He is only 4 :)
 
I've got some tums I need to take. I'm just scared the taste/texture will make me sick, thanks to this m/s, lol. I'm being a chicken.

Oh he went out, he knows better. LOL! He's been very very good about getting me things. He knows I'm pretty miserable lately. We're both very much looking forward to the day that I wake up and don't want to immediately throw up, lol. It better happen before we go to Europe, for sure!
 
Angie, he totally won't know the difference, lol. I think you're still a good mom. You'd only be a bad mom if you skipped his birthday all together, lol.
 
oh yeah Col, totally wouldn't skip it...but Abby was more upset last night that we didn't have cake and ice cream than he was LOL! but we are gonna take him to Chuck E Cheese and then do cake, ice cream and presents tomorrow night :)
 
Yay! 1 more week of holidays to go & I can't wait. Am meeting a friend in 2 hours so should be fun then meeting my mum for dinner in town (only see her about once a month when there is a long weekend or I'm on holidays so the next time I'm staying with her will be October)
 
I feel sorry for you guys that are suffering from the heat. I know people in (western) WA tend to complain that we really don't get any summer, but I'd rather have that than the over-100-degree days.
 
I moved from Houston to Cincinnati in part to get away from the heat - hah! A lot of good that did me..... temp 100, but with heat index of 115. :thumbdown:
 
I didn't even know that show was still on the air. I remember forbidding my daughter to watch it when she was younger because of how disturbing it was!
 
Oh god we've got ants over here. They tend to come out when it gets really hot and drive me batty because they're in places where I KNOW I don't have anything sweet. I've yelloed "WHY are you here?!" when I saw them by my olive oil.
 
I hear ants really HATE dryer sheets. True story. I was told to put them by the window or where ever they were getting in at. I haven't tried it to give a first hand testimonial but my BFF's mom swears by it. It is worth a try. :thumbup:
