Are you a Thread Killer? Let the Game Begin!

I haven't canned fruits or veggies myself, but I've helped a friend, and it definitely is a lot of work, but at least you have canned fruits and veggies when you're done.

It's not too tough, time consuming. I've done jam on my own, but used to help my granny & my mom when I was younger.

My grandma still cans at least 300 jars of various things every summer. Pickles, relish, watermelon rind pickles, pickled cauliflower, beets (they're the best!), applebutter, all kinds of jams and jellies. I've never done it myself, but someday I should learn how so we can keep all that yumminess in the family!

I finished 2 pages of my "December Daily" today...still a bunch to go yet! I really do wanna finish before Christmas is here again!

something romantic my man did...well let's see, that probably happened back in 2004 or something. Or wait, I did not meet him until 2006. hahahaha, so yah, nothing gonna be posted about that topic here. Sad isn't it.

tonight i made my grandma's. also...meg has informed me, they're sloppy joes, not bbq LOL

i used ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, worcheshire, salt/pepper, water, onion and celery

Homemade pizza for dinner. Then I took Zac to the pool for family night! It was packed - the heat index is 101 outside - but we had soooo much fun! (and of course I took some pics)

I am ashamed to say that we are dining on Hamburger Helper...sadly, true story.

What's sadder is that my son LOVES it, one of his "top 5s Mom". Unbelievable. Why I go to the effort to make anything "real" is beyond me. These people inhale any and all food, without thought to how long or difficult it was to make. Or not.:glare:

I want to make a new siggy but I have the hardest time picking which kit to use. Why is it so hard to choooooose?

All that food talk is making me hungry! Might be a good time to try that almond milk with some cereal....
