It's my first wedding anniversary! :) :wub: Yay. The hubster and I (plus Justice the dog) took some really cute pictures before work. I can't wait to scrap with them.
 
you must be laughing a lot celeste, because we won't kill hte thread....it's now become the neverendingthread. I think I even sang a song to it about 20 pages back, lol!

I need to charge the camera and flash batteries, I just remembered, lol! good thing I was making my list of things to do before christmas now and not on christmas eve
 
Yeah, the mean (just kidding-he's really nice) boss man is letting me leave at noon today, because we are driving two hours to Amarillo and want to get there before dark. Plus, we've seriously had no work this week at all. My normally slow office is even slower than normal. lol.

I need to charge my camera, too. Luckily, I drag it and a charger with me everywhere, so I'm just going to do it here. lol.
 
how nice of mean(nice)boss-man! I hope you guys have lots and lots of fun :) Are you coming back in the morning or just going straight to family for christmas?
 
Straight to family... My parents live twenty miles from Amarillo, so it's right on the way. I think I'm going to see all five of my brothers and sisters tomorrow for the first time since May. I'm way excited about that. :)
 
As of now, he's not working, because a bunch of the single soldiers volunteered to take the shifts. He is taking a few next week though to let people have mroe fo a break.

We were at the store and I decided I needed a Ham for christmas. this weather is so anti-christmas that I need something that at least invokes the memory. Is it pathetic that I plan on cranking the a/c so it at least feels chilly and I can wear something cute that day?

Oh, and anyone who knows anything about lemon laws for vehicles...I may need your expertise.
 
sigh. I don't qualify for lemon law because we've owned it more than 12 months and none of the issues occurred during the first 12 months. If Ford doesn't fix it this next time, I'll be throwing a giant screaming fit if I have to in order to get it fixed.

It's CHRISTMAS EVE! Are you ready for Christmas??? We just need to do the dishes from last night and vacuum the living room, and Jer has to finish wrapping my presents. I have 15.5 hrs before I have to be asleep again..cuz I know someone will wake up at 4 am like a little kid and want to open presents, lol!

I never feel quite ready. But we try not to stress out too much. I think too many people want to have a "perfect" holiday.
 
It's almost time to shut down the computer for the night/weekend, and celebrate with my family.

But I wanted to stop in and post here for my TKG that I am so lucky to have you as my friends <3 Merry Christmas TKG! I'll see you back Monday, if I don't get online tomorrow.
 
urgh that was a hard christmas with my family since one person (my aunt) was away in Australia, her husband didnt want to be contacted and couldn't be contacted - my aunt was worried sick and he was a general misery to be around during christmas dinner. He got me a couple of DVD's which I wasn't too thrilled with.
 
Me too, Jen. :) And the hubby got me a new necklace and ring.

And he was quite understanding as to why his poker table was lacking in legs. Haha. Hopefully they will get in next week.
