Well, the game has been postponed tonight due to weather. It's rainy and about 45 degrees. Brrrr. The cold is no biggie, but they won't play in the rain. So our boys get another day of rest! (I'm trying to look at this positively, not the added stress of worrying about it another day LOL)

This is exactly what I don't do, therefore, always losing, lol.

I hope the Cards win tomorrow. My hubby and boys were wondering why it wasn't on when the tv listing said it would be... (and again, I impressed them w/ my fabulous sports knowledge that we need the Cards to win at home or it's over and they were impressed, lol). My whole family is rooting for the Cards! :)
 
I woke up to the first snow of the year! We've been going through a terrible drought that I'm sure I've complained about before and we are pretty excited even for an inch of snow! :)
 
I am so swamped at work. This is the first opportunity I've had today to come here and check in on your girls, and I shouldn't even be doing it LOL.

Snow, Marla?! I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. We had 80 degree weather up until Tuesday and then it dropped down into the 40's and 50's. I'd like a few weeks of fall temps before snow, but I'm sure we'll get our fair share.

And yes!! Go Cards!! We ARE going to win tonight!
 
It is so not fun finding out I'm locked out of my house for 50 minutes in 40 degree foggy weather. Also seeing my house key sitting on the table next to the door.
 
OMG Hailey! Glad you're back in safe and sound!

My work day's almost over. Then I have to stop by grocery store on way home, go home make dinner, wait for hubby to get home. Go work out. Then go home and relax!!
 
My oldest son's birthday is today! He's 14 years old. I can't beleive I had my first baby 14 years ago!

He's a special needs boy and we're so thankful for how well he gets treated at school everyday. I have pictures on my fb wall of him and his fun day today. :)

Hailey, we're having taco salad for dinner. Quick and easy! Dump everything into a bowl and mix!

I don't wanna work out today...I'm really going to try to make myself. GO GO GO!!

my only workout today is lifting my kitty. she's glommed on me, and in fact tried to eat my ramen noodles.

and I'm completely whacked, because I decided to redo my entire photo organization system this week.

Kate- That sounds yummy, and you can do it, even though that is what i should be doing too. Did walk a mile though today just going back and forth to get my son to school. but should be doing more.

Marla- what an awesome hubby to get you a new lens yay :) and happy early birthday.

For dinner, we're going out for the birthday boy's big day, and he has picked Texas Roadhouse (I love this place), so, I'm thrilled to get a night off from cooking! :thumbup:

Well, I didn't work out today either... and I had ice cream last night, three pieces of pizza for lunch, Mexican food for dinner, and more ice cream. Yikes!

My blood pressure is soaring and I'm on the verge of having a heart attack. We are losing by 2 in the 7th. Come on Cards! We've got to pull this off!

Yesterday . . hmmm . . GOOD DAY - my birthday! Got serenaded at work, got cake, got spoilt, rode the its-my-birthday-I can-do-what-I-want train; serenaded at home, got cake, got spoilt, rode the . .well you get the idea LOL . . AND I get to massively SPLURGE in the sweet shoppe cos of the aforementioned train hahahahaha!!

BAD DAY - my boss completely annoyed me to the point that I was in tears. Grrrr.

But at least I got cake! :p

And O.M.G. you guys. That game last night was AMAZING. I'm not kidding. One of the best in World Series history. We pulled it out and got our win and will be going to game 7 tonight. I have plans tonight, so won't be able to see the whole game (the series was supposed to be over by last night at the latest! But we had the rain delay game). I'm getting twitchy about it. And even though I'm looking forward to going out, I'm kinda sad I won't be able to sit and watch it. Or, really, pace and watch it LOL.

Bummer you cant watch it all . . maybe you need a little trannie with an earplug so you can listen to it hahahaha (except you'll look like a hard core gambler lol)

How's your lil one Kate? Is she on the mend??
 
My little one is feeling so much better, thanks for asking Donna!

I've made it to work. On about 3 hours sleep. It's gonna be a heck of a day.

Yikes, Kate! That's sounds terrible. I was WAY restless last night, but got plenty of sleep. Lately, I've been dead by 8:30, so I haven't been staying up late. Sucks though, because I can't seem to get anything done.
 
it's written in my planner to cheer for your Cards tonight, lol!

I've narrowed our vacation pics down from 600 to 400-something. I still need to get them edited down even further and finish editing the disney online ones.
