my last job interview was back in 2004 right when i graduated high school (has it really been 7 years) it was for a summer job so i could save up for a community college i was going to in the fall but by summer term the following year i got pregnant. I have had volunteer jobs from 2007-2009 but scared to death come September when my son starts kindergarten and in this economy where i am at is scary.
 
Dh fixed us burgers on the grill for supper tonite. YUM! But he tried a new type of Ore Ida fries - some crisper things.... they are sooo not good. Ds gagged trying to eat them. :p
 
I have to say I was planning on doing AWITL for the first time this year, but when I saw Traci's goodies for it my feelings ratcheted up to OMGI'MSOEXCITEDIWISHITWEREHEREALREADY :p

Uh, ya. She just rawks my sawks.
 
My cell phone BROKE yesterday and it is hard to live without a cell phone! I just got a new iphone 4 which was crazy expensive. I know the iphone 5 is coming out this fall but I needed a phone TODAY!

I am an operations manager and have interviewed lots of applicants with our Personnel department over the last 15 years. Just be yourself and the above for an outfit is perfect. No-Nos would be going too casual. No casual open sandals that look like you are headed to a bar or the beach (peep toe or closed toe is best for an interview), no long shorts - even if they are dressy - go for a nice pair of slacks. Personnel also doesn't like to see sleeveless tops and cleavage. :thumbdown:

I can't even imagine going to an interview right now... and it's only been almost 6 years since I've worked, 10 years since I interviewed for a job. :/
 
I can freezer jam. It is really simple. :D My mom just sent me a recipe to make Mt. Dew jelly cuz I'm a total Mt. Dew junkie. So of course, I am going to have to try it. :D

Hang in there okay!! It will get better - I promise :) Try to get some rest when he is sleeping. Don't do laundry, the dishes, or pick up the house. GET REST!!! Keep us posted on how he and YOU are doing. Hugs!!!
 
UGH- I've had a pretty horrid evening but I just spent a good 20 mins on peopleofwalmart.com and am in a much better mood! What are people thinking these days?
 
urgh I can't believe it - in the space of just under 2 weeks 2 out of 5 of our doorknobs in the house have fallen off or broken - mine is held together with sellotape and the one in the computer/craft room for my grandma has totally fallen to pieces
 
It pretty much looks like the local wally world, every.single.day. I seriously HATE going there. (especially now that it's under construction to be a 'Super') :bleh:
 
while I was out today I found a favourite store is closing down in 9 days - I'm so sad to see them go because I loved their unique tops I would find (I have dark purple top with bronze & silver sequins on it, a blue crochet top with flowers on it & now a black top with dimontes on it and a orange crochet top with flowers on it. The last 2 I got today for $15 for both (not that I needed anymore tops but...)
 
I just spent the last 2 hours uploadin gand organizing my 2009-2010 Digi scrapbook pages....I lost alot of my pages when my EHD crashed, but I at least still have alot from last year~
 
Is seriously technologically challenged just tryied to update her computer and deleted her registery files and spent the last 4 hours fixing it (well the support guy remote accessing my laptop did it lol) x
 
my contribution today - I'm actually H-A-P-P-Y!! You know that kind of day where you just feel good, everythings going great at work, come home to red wine slow cooked beef, kids are at fairly low decibels and to top it all off CHOCOLATE!!! I'm usually a pretty positive type person, but today I just feel amazing, so I'm enjoying it while it lasts LOL :p

I shudder to think of the state of my layouts. I just organize them by year and chuck them into the appropriate folder. I haven't ever printed a book lol.
 
I've never had a book printed, either. It's funny that I don't really have a big desire to see all my stuff printed out. I don't think it'll ever look as good as on the computer, since, I mean...it's DIGITAL and all LOL. But the few pages that I've had printed I was always pleased with.
