So, what are you ladies hoping to get for Christmas? Or know that you are getting? :p
I will be getting an iPhone from hubby!!! I'm so freakin excited about this!!!
And, from me (yes, I buy myself one gift every year. lol), Pioneer Woman's Cookbook! It comes out tomorrow, but I pre-ordered about 2 months ago! lol

My list also includes a new Vera Bradley bag & lots of Pampered Chef goodies! And money...money is always good! :)

I'm hoping for a new lens for my camera. :) I've been hinting to dh already but I haven't decided 100% which lens I want the most. I'd love a speedlight as well but I'm thinking that'll be a purchase that I'll put my Christmas money from the IL's toward. :)

I really need a treadmill. I've been being a pest about it for ages LOL.

I would really like a new EHD, mine is almost full, and I'd like to separate my pics from my scrap stuff on different drives, since they are only back up drives.

We did say we were going to get a new bedroom set for Christmas between us as our gift, but that's not really any fun. LOL

I want a Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens, a Kindle and my own Nintendo DS and about 5 games. Probably I will get one of them. Though I have my eyes out for a used DS & I've seen them as low as $65 at Gamestop so I may just end up buying that for myself & let DH choose which of the other things he wants to get me

My DH & I no longer exchange big gifts (just something small in each others stockings like a CD, movie or gift card), we choose to spend our limited Christmas budget on the kids instead. I would love to upgrade my camera body & get a new lens or two, but I'm not expecting that to happen anytime soon.

My Dad and Stepmom are really great though and even though we tell them every year we don't want or need anything (6 kids plus 5 spouses/girlfriends plus 11 grandkids makes for a ton of gifts they have to buy), they still give us money every year so we buy ourselves something fun with that! Rob gets a new PS3 game or two, and I usually spend mine on clothes or books or scrap supplies, but I really want a new camera bag so that's probably what I will spend mine on this year!

Well... I asked my hubby for a new laptop (which will also be for all holidays and birthday coming in 2010!)... otherwise, my parents and us do not exchange gifts since we get each other stuff through out the year when we need something... for hubby's side of the family we have to give a list (which I HATE doing... I rather have something that they thought I'd like)... but I asked for Rachael Ray dishes that was just featured on QVC and HAD to have in white... LOL! Then I asked for a subscription to Creating Keepsakes, and a micro-plane for zesting citrus.

Since this is my first Christmas as a digi scrapper, my poor family has NO IDEA what to do, LOL! For 10 years they've been able to hit up scrapbook stores for me!

a new camera bag
new planner from levenger.com
new camera lens (30mm 1.4! hee hee)
new clothes for work (I wub Banana Republic)

fun thread!!

On my wishlist is

iMac (this might come after the new year. not sure yet)
a kindle
canon 55-20mm lens
towels (we have been married for 11 years. it is time for new towels)
costa del mar sunglasses

But I have a feeling that a new washer and dryer, fridge and water heater will be my gifts this year.

I should be getting a 1 TB EHD. I also want a good P&S for Disney next summer, and a speedlite. Pretty sure I won't get the last 2. :D :D :D

What I'd really like is for my hubby to be able to come home :o but I don't think that's going to happen.

Otherwise I'm not really sure. I had been wanting a new P&S camera to put in my purse but I've been using the camera on my iPhone instead and that seems to work pretty well and it's one less thing to carry around.

I also really love the look of the new Nook eeader but since my DH already surprised me with a Kindle, I don't know that I can ask for that, haha. Would anyone be interested in a literally used-once Kindle? :p

let's see..
what I want for christmas is for tory belleci or david tennant to realize he loves me, fly out here.. and sweep me away. I've given up on leo.. he's too skanky for me now..
or a regular boyfriend, that would be ok too I suppose.

I vote Tory! :p When he does come proclaim his love for you...I better be invited to the wedding! :)

Aw! This just breaks my heart! I can't imagine not having my hubby home for Christmas! It sure takes a special woman to be a military wife! I don't think I could ever do it! (((hugs)))

I am getting a Canon Rebel with my airmiles!! I am super excited!

I also re-ordered the new Biggest Loser Wii game. I tend to just buy myself stuff. LOL

Hmmm... I have no idea.

Are we the only ones (besides shawna...) who don't do big things? We have a $50 limit on each other... just because. We could afford big things with dh's bonus, but we don't get big things. We do a little more for the kids, but not much. Anyone else?

We do big things now, but I'm sure once we have kids, we'll do a lot less for each other & more for them. But, for now, it's fun to spoil each other! :)

I really don't want anything for Christmas- except that my kids have a great Christmas! We decided not to buy each other anything (but we'll choose something for the house together). We really want to make our kids' Christmas as great as it can be! And we're gonna have fun going shopping together for their gifts!

I have noticed that since having kids the big gifts have kinda dried up;)

I got a laptop for my birthday, that is supposed to be my christmas gift too, so I'll be lucky to get a bottle of perfume from my SO this year.. I told him I wanted an iPhone though, but that is never going to happen.

My parents are celebrating christmas with my brother in Malysia this year (my brother and his GF are backpacking, and my parents are meeting up with them), so I'm going to have to do some research and find out what they can bring back for me:)

This is us too. We usually do small gifts for each other at Christmas though - cds, dvds, etc. The big things have been more for birthdays or promotions or just at random times. :D And we have a $50 per person limit for family Christmas gifts.

I do put some big things on my Christmas list only because my parents often will buy me something bigger or give me money to help pay for it. Last year they bought me a new printer.

I asked for new sheets & a steam mop from my family (woohoo...fun) and from "DH" (I buy my own gifts) I'm getting a Hello Kitty stainless steel watch, New Moon soundtrack and Professor Layton & the Diabolical Box DS game. I can get a pair of Crocs if I want, but I dunno if I can justify the $45 since the Crocs I wear now are just fine. Plus I have to pay at least $200-300 to get my Rebel fixed so I can't ask for much more.

Yeah, I guess my inlaws give us $50 per person and we usually combine it and get a cool family gift. And Lynnette, we also do bigger things at random times just because... and one year we totally splurged on birthdays (also usually $50 limit for us)... I got him a wii and some wii stuff and he got my a dslr... i definitely got the better end of that! :)

I have some Jessica Simpson heels and a calvin Klien dress on my list and some saphire jewelry, I would also love to have lightroom and a grey card..

We don't do big things either. Dh have set a $15 limit for each other the last couple of years. This year is going to be tough to even get our girls anything, but if I were going to dream (and money were no object) I would want a family trip to Disney World and a DH/Me trip to Vegas to see Garth Brooks in concert.

We really don't do very big things for each other. We try to limit ourselves w/ the kids as well. We just don't think there is a need to get crazy trying to buy a million things. But my hubby knows that I always have a wishlist a mile long that mostly includes computer and camera stuff. :)

Well we're getting a Wii from my parents as a family gift so I really want the Wii Fit Plus from hubby. I would love a dslr, but I doubt that will happen.

We kind of only do one big thing for DH and I. I am very against giving/receiving more little, junky cr@p, er I mean stuff, so I usually just ask for ONE thing. But I want it to be good. :)

This year -- I want a really wide-angle lens; maybe even a fish-eye.

It varies for us whether we do big things or small. Last year it was maybe $50 on each of us, if that. This year the kids don't want much, no electronics or other big ticket items a a family gift, so we are getting things for ourselves for a change :) We spend about $500-600 total on gifts every year dividing it as needed.

DH wants a 47 inch flat screen plasma which is so not happening.
