Halloween costumes for the boys

So... I was looking for Halloween costumes for the boys and thought of La when I saw this:

I'm trying to think of cute pairs for the boys... I'll need newborn/infant for Phin and toddler for Yorick... I want them to look all cute together...

I really wanted to do Yorick as Dr. Horrible and Phin as Captain Hammer.

(extra love for those that get it)

I'm altering the extra princess outfit I bought last year for Tiger. Her chest was too big for it, so I'm gonna fix it, and then she'll be a pretty pretty princess.

Everyone LOVES to see her sitting at the top of the stairs in a costume. :)

I have a friend that dressed her twin 2 year old boys as Clark Kent and Superman last year. It was SOOO cute!! One was in a suit and the other wore the superman costume.

We are doing Pokemon...Rae already has her Pikachu costume and it's SO cute. Amelia will go as Mudkip and Benjamin will go as the Pokemon trainer Ash. They should be super cute!

my kids have skipped Halloween (meaning trick or treating) for the past 2 years. Not sure if they want to sit out this year too.

DS was Thomas the Tank Engine for a couple years in a row before he decided that passing out the candy was more fun than going door-to-door.

2 years ago DS1 was Bob the Builder and DS2 was Lofty, his crane. Last year they both wanted to be Bob, so we had Bob and mini-Bob, his assistant. This year may be the first year that we don't have a Bob the Builder at Halloween. DS1 probably wants to be Rocket from Little Einsteins, and I don't know what DS2 wants to be.

My oldest (12) is "too cool" for trick or treating he says -- but will eat my little guy's candy -- no doubt!!!

But Colton (4) has been saying since last Halloween he wants to be a zombie! IDK if we will do that or not -- it creeps me out. :)

oh HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNN..love it..can't wait! Last year my kids were dorothy and the lion from the wiz of oz... and THIS year...**oh yes, i HAVE to coordinate them* they are going to be Little Red Riding Hood and The BIg Bad Wolf..which will TOTALLY rock..b/c we are the wolf fam......... :) now...........if ANYONE has any ideas where i can get a WOLF costume for a little boy 3years old...let me know :) thanks chickas!

Maybe halloween monsters. Cooper was going to be a Purple People Eater and Keira is going to be a witch. But I found the cutest Blue 3 eyed monster costume the other day at Toys R Us

I'm not sure yet what the kids' costumes will be this year. The girls usually change their minds a hundred times and then finally pick something when we go looking at the stores, they haven't mentioned anything yet this year but I'm sure they'll start soon! Kyle was a hot dog last year, I thought he was so cute! That skunk costume that Kat posted is way cute!

Who am I kidding, they are all adorable!!! I'm never going to be able to pick just one lol!!

Kaden either want's to be Buzz (his newest obsession...watching the movie right now like every day!) or a monkey...prolly buzz hehe

My little on was jack sparrow last year and since the costume was a little big, we will use it again this year

And I was thinking on something like this to me... just to match you know... LOL

Oh you guys! I haven't even STARTED to think about Halloween! First there was the 'special' hair dye today and now Halloween costumes! My list of worries is growing!

LOL, Oriana, that is HOT!
This year will be the first time we're taking the girls. It's the first they're really old enough for it, and I feel a little more comfortable trick or treating on a military base than I would around any other town. It'll still be nice out here in Oct, so I'll probably go with something girly and princessy since it's their first time, and they're not set on any one thing they'd like to be...LOL, it's more for me this time! They still don't really know what it's all about yet!

My little guy (will be 2) will get to be a red dragon ... Blake's costume from his 2nd Halloween. I am guessing Julia will be a princess. Blake ... no idea. He wanted to be Batman last year ... maybe this year he'll actually do it, though I bet it's popular again this year and we probably can't afford the better costumes of it. :p

Yorick was Chewbacca and his best friend was Yoda last year, he could still fit in that Chewie costume, but I want him to match Phin this year and I got oil all over my Jedi robes in a tragic back-into-the-salad-table accident.

Thats adorable!! Last year little Wes was Woody from toy story, we got him teh cutest little get up from the disney store, and Noah was a little Lion from Old Navy. Lily is always osme variation of a disney princess LOL She was cinderella two years in a row, then snow white and then sleeping beauty so Im curious as to which one she will pick this year!

Abby & Joey were Super Girl and Super Man last year. I have no idea what they will do this year. Abby has been a cow and an elephant before. In 06, JJ was a lion and Abby was a half angel, half devil.

just wanted to say - B the W - totally get it.
I so adore him.
oh. yeah. good luck with costumes. Halloween is 6 days before my c/s date. Carter may just go as a kid looking for candy-who-has-a mom too waddling to care.

well, I'd just need a onesie with the captain hammer logo on it, courtesy of cafe press, some jeans, and some black mittens for Phin. Boom.
Captain Hammer.

Yorick's will be a little more difficult, he won't leave gloves or goggles on, he'll be 20 months.

Last year I qualified for lamest mom ever because at the last minute I put the boys in a couple of DH's shirts, my belts, tied a bandana around each of their heads, gave them each a small plastic sword they got at a birthday party earlier in the month and said 'you're part of Captain Jack's Crew'

This year I am going to tie the bandanas around their faces and give them squirt guns and they can be 'bandits'.

Next year they will be those 'ghosts' in floral bedsheets everyone remembers for years afterward. :)

I so make myself stress out about L.J.'s costume. It's always so stinkin' hot here that those adorable furry costumes are just not even a thought. So far L.J.'s been a turtle, a pirate and a boxer. I have no idea what he'll be this year. I did find out that they make Super Why costumes now...maybe...hmmm...

bryn- doctor horrible and captain hammer would be HILARIOUS (thanks for telling me about it, btw....LOVED it!)

my dd was a skunk last year...no idea for this year yet though....now you've got me thinking!

I can't find pictures of their costumes anymore on the Disney Outlet website, but I ordered and received our costumes last week (looks like they might be sold out now?) Parker is being Squirt from Finding Nemo and Naomi is being Nemo. I don't really care than Nemo is a boy b/c we'll have tons of years of being princess and princess-y things once she is more self-aware. Right now I can make her be whatever I want LOL.

Anyway I got her costume for $7 and his for $5, so it was a good deal, and there won't be other kids around here wearing it, and it is matching and cute :)
