Halloween costumes for the boys

Aww Rhett's going to be a cute lil turtle, that was one of my top choices! And that poodle costume is so cute too, love Mya's chubby cheeks lol!

So far I think we're going to go with the dragon for Kyle, that was the one DH liked the best. The other one I really like is the giraffe and Kyle seemed to like it too when we were lookin at all the costumes, plus he loves the giraffes when we go to the zoo! So it will probably be one of those two.

Shawna where did you find those? I love the purple monster!!!
DS was a peapod last year and this year I wanted him to be a lobster, but BabyStyle doesn't have it in his size. So I'm back to square one.

Oh I LOVE babystyle's costumes...Kaden was the turtle from there for his second halloween...my little sis used to work there so I had a ton of stuff from there!

I think the purple monster is from www.onestepahead.com

Old Navy is where I found the first skunk one that I posted. Gymboree has some up I think. None on the Disney site yet though... at least the last time I looked.

last year my little guy was the old navy monkey. this pic doesn't show off the costume very well, but it's cute so I thought I'd share it anyway. :p

The costumes from Old Navy are cute too, and very reasonably priced. That's where I got Kyle's hot dog costume last year and I think I paid like $14 for it on sale or with a coupon. I may have to get the dragon costume from there instead! The monkey costume is really cute too!

when my kids were little I did pairs and then threes. One year they were fictional characters-dragon & fairy. Another year my daughter was Bride of Frankenstein, my son was Frankenstein and my youngest son was Frankie Jr. Another year it was Misty, Ash and Pikachu from the cartoon Pokemon and another year it was Bam-Bam and Pebbles. We dont do Halloween here anymore though because all three kids are too old. My youngest son never liked Halloween much. He was scared of costumes when he was little and then one year I shut his hand in the trunk of our car by accident. I didnt realize he had his hand on the edge next to the trunk and it got pinched pretty badly. Then another year he was running and fell on the concrete and scraped himself up. That coupled with how hot it still is here in Orlando on Halloween night costumes just dont stay on very long here.

we have never done the full-on matching costumes in this house, other than Jenna's first Halloween (although she wasn't part of our mix. lol). Des, Cody and I were Darth Maul, Queen Amidala and Anakin. Jenna was a cute fairytale princess. lmao

I was thinking of doing these this year ...

whatcha think? hehehe yeah, more than likely, the kids will not go with it. Nothing for Des, cause he will be at work, like always.

Off to research costumes some more, to find what the kids will more than likely be (cause, yeah, I highly doubt the theme thing will be a go. hehee).

Thankfully the two older ones DO NOT dress up anymore so I only have the twins do deal with....As of last count it will either be Indiana Jones or Batman. They actually want to be the same thing for once, kinda weird. I am sure they will change their minds 50 more times between now and then though. I have about 6 coustumes that I have sewn for the older boys in the past but the twins want NOTHING to do with any of them :cursing:

Was at my fav used kid's clothing store today and found a Kangaroo costume for like $8. So that's what DS is going to be this year.
