Hello all. I woke up this morning finding myself a little frantic and scared. No. More like terrified would be the word... and crying. I have 4 children, and after each of the last two were born, I experienced postpartum hemorrhaging. I was lucky enough to survive both times. I really nearly died with the last one, I hung on to dear life by a thread. Shortly after the last one happened, I found myself kind of traumatized by the whole experience and knowing physically in a very real and dramatic way what slowly dying felt like.
Shortly after having Cameron, my last baby, I made this layout to express how I was feeling and thinking that I had overcome that fear and trauma...

But...
I am finding myself revisiting those same fears now that I am about to have my fifth baby who will be my last child. And you can say, "well, you brought this upon yourself" and you would be completely right. But the fact still remains that in 4 weeks or so I will be delivering this baby and my fear still remains. My doctor is aware of the situation and I will remind him again when I go in to deliver this baby. And my husband will remind him as well. They NEED to be prepared for whatever happens. I just cannot help to feel scared about the possibility of what could happen to me if I experience PPH again, which most likely I will (since I have had it with the last two babies).
I am getting on my knees pleading that I can survive anything thrown my way and that I can still mother my children and take care of them.
If you can, please pray for me or send good thoughts that everything will be fine and that I may find the comfort and calmness I need. Thank you so much in advance.
Has anyone else here experienced PPH?
