Who from SSD have you met IRL?

I have met Kelly of Connection Keeping. She is not far from me

@craftytam and I live in the same city. I reached out to her thru an SSD DM when I realized it. In the past, she has hosted Saturday craft days and she invited me to one of those. She usually takes a picture of our group when we gather, so she'll have to post pics. She is a lovely person!
Aaw! You're so sweet, Stephanie! You're a lovely person, too! 💖

Man... I wish I were brave enough to meet all of you lovely ladies. I could meet Cassie if I was courageous enough because she is not too far from us again. But it's just me and my fears...
Oh Leah, Cassie is the sweetest person ever! You would really love her. I hope you can meet!! 💖

Elle Bea @laurabobaura is my special friend. I'm her sweet potatah. LOL Our first meeting was in 2012, and then we saw each other in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

I met a LOT of scrapbookers doing a scrapbooking retreat. I can't remember all of their names.

I met Courtney @bestcee in 2015. She and I have had many scrap sessions. She's also my sidekick when I do live Watch Cheryl Scrap sessions.

I met Brook Magee once in Nashville--we were both there on vacation. I saw her at a museum and recognized her, and I was like, "hi, this is awkward, but are you Brook Magee? I know you from Sweet Shoppe!"
This was before I was a Babe, so she didn't really know who I was, but she was super sweet! I want to meet everyone!
Let me know the next time you go to Nashville! I am 20 minutes from Nashville!

Grace, Natalie, and I met up at Comic Con in Salt Lake.
Here's your bonus point!

And yes, a few Digi Night Outs - I met Britanee Walker (Used to be a Sugarbabe) there too. I met Elisa for lunch in Las Vegas when she was visiting her sister.

Its been years since I've met anyone, I just had become a babe the last time the SSD team had a big meet up.

But, I met Janet Phillips in 2014 and way back in 2010, I met MandaBean, Melissa Bennett, Leigh, Heather Roselli, and another lady, but I think she was just along for the ride.

And I also oddly enough met another community member, again, her name escapes me when I was stationed in Alaska, we were having a garage sale before I got out of the Air Force and she walked up to me and said are you nesser1981! LOL!

To live within the same country and to see so many digi-friends, that's such a treat!! 💜

I met Charity (stormchaser) for coffee once- we live fairly close to each other! I've been close to Kristin (KCB) and Tammy (craftytam) a few times while traveling for hockey but our schedules have never lined up!

If anyone ends up in Eastern Washington or Northern Idaho- hit me up! :D

I'm just here waiting patiently for you to be ready someday! In the meantime I love our little chats whenever we find the time to catch up! ❤️

This is so fun!!

We should have a Sweet Shoppe summer camp where we all meet up for the week and stay in cabins by a lake and scrapbook and read all day and eat decadent food made by someone other than us and roast marshmallows by the campfire at night and do it all again the next day!!
Who is buying the mosquito spray for this??? It sounds fun. Although I'd never survive it because my back needs a really good chair or I basically die a slow painful death. ha ha.

Years back a gal did a digi-scrapping get-together at the beach in Seaside, Oregon. My girlfriend Alissa (who was designing back then) and I drove out and got to hang with Dani Mogstadt, Julie Billingsley, Shawna Klingerman, and a CT member whose name is currently escaping me. We all had such fun. After that I had several of them over to my place to scrap/design/simply chat away. All of us had our computers out. My daughter brought over her little tree frog and it jumped from her hands and landed splat in the center of, I think, Dani's monitor. Good for a crack up but I was ever so thankful it didn't pee down her monitor!!! Over the many years since we have more less lost contact as they moved on to doing other things.

Oh Leah, every single one of us has our own insecurities about whether we will measure up around other people. Sometimes I wonder if people not in this industry will even like me anymore because my whole focus in life is designing now that my daughter is grown. You two should text and go have coffee or lunch or whatever.

This thread makes me wonder if we have some scrappers, designers or CT in the Portland, Oregon area. I know Allison Pennington actually does not live that far from me - probably 20 minutes apart but we've never looked to meet in person. Covid really made me a stay-at-home person - except when I need an escape at HomeGoods.

I've never met any digital scrapping people, attending crops when I did paper scrapping is something that I do miss.

I'm not sure if there is anyone here in the UK. If anyone is visiting let me know. I live pretty much in the middle of England!

We WILL meet up at some point @AmieN1 !! ;)

We're usually over in the Portland area once a year. I drove by your home town on our way to the beach and thought, "hey, I know somebody that lives there." =)
