I would LOVE to meet so many of you... I swear that Robin needs to have a Sweet Shoppe Retreat somewhere. Just pick the place and dates...then we could ALL meet up!!!
I am in Utah, so anyone here I am game to get together. Lydia and I are already talking about it, and I know that Libby is coming this year to see some here! :)

Yes! We've got to do this!!! I would love to meet Libby! And, Jenny, let us know when you'll be here and we'll plan something to fit your schedule. :) I would LOVE to meet up with any of the Utah girls.

I'll be in San Francisco in May while hubby attends a work conference. I'm sure I'll have free time during the day while he's in meetings, so if anyone is near there and wants to meet up, I think it would be so fun!

dude...when are you going to be in Seattle???? I am about 75 miles north of Seattle...would totally drive to meet you with some of you crazy gals!!!

beginning of may. i cannot even remember the dates right now but i would love to meet up with any/all of the girlies in the seattle area for lunch while i am there!!

I constantly meet great people through my blog but unfortunately most of them are from America. That's a bit far for me to go :p
I hope to one day meet as many of them as possible when I travel overseas :)

I'd LOVE to put together a TEXAS digi retreat so we could all hook up for a scrappy weekend somewhere! I know we have lots of digi chicks down here (although i do realize TX is ginormous!... i'm down in Houston).

I would be so up for this!!! How about Galveston this summer or Padre? If I had to drive - would love to hit the beach and take my daughter to visit AM down there

I really would love to meet all my friends here, but I'm to far away .... living in Germany makes this nearly impossible.... I have met a German Digi Friend and I want to do this again as soon as the money is not such a problem here

But you are all invited to visit us here in our mill!

Im moving to Italy next year, and plan on visiting friends in Germany ~ Im game to visit you Claudi!

When in feb? I'd totally drive up to meet up with you girls!!!

It'll be the 27th-1st, the 1st would probably be the best day, the 28th is Coop's 2nd b-day.

I haven't been there in years, so you guys will just have to figure out a place to do it. And let me know.

I'm always in for an Austin meetup. :D I would be willing to travel great distances to meet up with people I talk to on a regular basis. I plan to get my rear up to IN to visit Crystal some day!

omgosh! You should!!!!!!!!!! Though I really would rather you just let us move in with you. :D :D

I seriously would travel crazy far to meet up with some of my girlfriends. It's just that I don't usually get a chance. The hubby has limited days off and we only have one car and I am terrified of flying.

I must be the only one in Missouri??!! I don't blame you guys.

I would be willing to drive and meet up! I actually like the drive. It would be just me, no kiddos! and I couldn't drag Josh :p

I love to travel so I'd go pretty much wherever, especially if it was for a big digi meetup.

I totally vote for this. It would be so fun!

I'm totally for this too but not until after August since that's when I'm moving to Texas. :D

WHAT?!?!? You're moving to Texas? Where, where, where? Oh do tell!

PUHlease no mass get togethers until I get back on US soil this July!

I am TOTALLY up for a Chicagoland gathering. It would be a 12 hour drive for me, but I could probably talk Joel into letting me fly, we'll see.

i will pick you up from the airport!

oh to answer original question ... hmm ... depends.

but i have met Kellie and Keela; they came to me (more or less lol). And I feel like I've met Shannon IRL. Even though I never have.

I'm just now finding time to answer this...now I must go back and read.

I would travel to Borneo but not a mile farther. I want to meet Kellie.

Truthfully though a few hours is my max because I can't really afford overnight stays right now :) I've met several SSDers and it is so very nice! :)

I have actually travelled to Michigan to meet scrapbooking friends ... way back when I was a paper scrapper I travelled to Michigan with my 3 sons ... we stayed at the lady's house (and we chipped in for food) ... we went sightseeing during the day ... and at night we scrapped (and my boys played video games in another room). It was a lot of fun!

How far I travel depends on if I have any money come summer ... we are spending quite a bit in Robotics traveling to competitions ... so I may or may not have enough money to splurge this summer ... although I know I would travel to Oklahoma!

I was in Germany last year. I was really hoping to meet up with Sylvie (Sausan Designs). She is about an hour from Stuttgart, but we were only there for a few hours, and then we headed to Basel Switzerland on a bus (we chaperoned my son's band). We came back through and then on to Austria too, but it didn't work out. If we had stayed the night in Stuttgart like the plans were originally, we would've met up! I did meet up with friends in Vienna though. I had stayed with their family in Innsbruck 30 years ago. It's so funny though, because that was the highlight for my dh, son and myself. It's one thing to visit another country, but to get together with people, eat, drink, laugh...it just made it so much more memorable!
Debra, you were in Switzerland last year!! I would have loved to meet you):
Claudi, where in germany are you?

Fun, fun! I love San Antonio. I'm just up the road in Round Rock (north of Austin).

My son was in Round Rock. He's in Jarrell now, and I'm planning to go visit soon. I'm sending him a ticket to come home (SoCal) for a short visit at the end of February, and I was thinking of coming there in March. Is the weather ok then? I don't want the heat and humidity! (heat is ok without the humidity!!)

I know Raji. I didn't know you were there until I got back...Next time (lol). I loved it so much though. Another dear friend from Austria lives in Switzerland now, and I've love to go see her. If I come, you know I'll contact you!

Free room and board in Oklahoma....and if you come at the right time, maybe in Texas too. LOL.

Flew to Orlando in January to meet up with some digi-scrappers, then to Huntsville, AL in March to meet up with some gals I met years ago on a scrapbooking board, and have plans for a meet-up in Disneyland next January. I'm in Northern Virginia.

This is a blast from the past!

I once flew from New Zealand to Salt Lake City to visit one of the sugarbabes Lydia, but that was also combined with a work trip with my husband. That was about 11,400kms. Locally, I'd probably only travel within my city to meet another scrapper.

I always feel too far from others but I notice even where I live there is someone close so maybe who knows

Yikes ... I didn't notice the dates. Wonder why it popped up for me yesterday? Weird.

I was reading all the posts yesterday and didn't recognize a lot of the posters so I looked at the date. Saw it was 15 years old!

Might as well answer it. I've traveled (all driving trips) from Ohio to Michigan, a 3 hour drive. Ohio to Virginia, between 7 and 8 hours. Ohio to Alabama, between 8 and 9 hours. Ohio to Ontario, about 4 hours 30 minutes. These were all retreats and I've been to a bunch in Ohio with the farthest being 3 hours.

However, back in 1997, I flew from Ohio to Los Angeles (about 2200 miles) to meet up with some friends from an AOL message board for the weekend. Then in 2002, a group of these friends went to NYC for a weekend to attend a benefit that was organized by one of the stars of As The World Turns (we were all fans of it) so I got to meet some more of our AOL board members at that benefit. Bonus was meeting quite a few of the soap stars I had been watching on various shows over the years!

Hahaha I had the same, but I did not noticed at first :D

I have met some "old" digiscrappers before and I traveled to London to meet up with one of them to spend a weekend with her and her daughter and I even went to Wendy's (WendyP Designs) wedding with her love

If someone ever travels to the Netherlands and wants to meet...let me know and we'll make it work :w00t: :D
