Well in a little over 2 weeks I will be in South Carolina and it looks like no one is from there. LOL!! I am hoping to meet up with Manda though after I move!! Woot!!
 
My bff online lives only about 400 miles from me, I am regularly only an hour away from her, yet we have never gotten to met. It sucks so much, it never works out.

I'm over on the MI/OH border, between Ann Arbor & Toledo.

Like 5 miles from Cabelas.
 
Well, there's what I'm willing to do and what I could convince DH to go along with (ie, watch the kids for). I could probably convince him to do it if I could get there and back the same day. So if anyone ever plans a big meet up in the DC area or within a 2-3 hour drive, I'm in.

Where in SC? I live pretty close to the Ga/SC border

I've never met any fellow digiscrappers... though I'd love to do a get together in Edmonton, Alberta with anyone else willing to... maybe this spring/summer? Edmonton's about 3 hrs from us- that's about my limit for traveling (I hate driving, but could take military transportation to Edmonton, that's if hubby couldn't drive me... lol).
 
ok so y0u guys just all need to come to Veags in August and clebrate my 40th birthday with me:p
 
I'm in Illinois too...we're in Chicago about once a month. I had totally planned on getting together with Leu and whoever else was game this summer anyway. I've traveled about 100 mi. to meet an online friend. We get together about once a month now at a central location for both of us. Sheana and I have been planning on meeting for what, the last 3 years now? :p
 
I'd probably travel within New Zealand to meet digi scrappers but if I was over in USA or Canada when a meetup was happening and it was close enough then I would probably go to it as well while I am there.

I would love to do a meet up but I am terrified of traveling outside of my familiar soil here. I panic having to drive in big cities and I hate flying.

dude...when are you going to be in Seattle???? I am about 75 miles north of Seattle...would totally drive to meet you with some of you crazy gals!!!

Cause she loves me! :) HAHA I would also like to visit Austin, even talked about driving down last summer while hubby was deployed, but then everything went crazy!:thumbup:

I would probably drive a couple hours for a general meet up, but for friends I talk to and 'Know" Id travel a lot further.

I to have met people from my daughter's playgroup, that was a lot of fun, and I keep talking about going to Toronto to meet a bunch more! :) I am just outside STL, VERY central!

Well, I've arranged two and participated in three digital meet 'n' greets before as well as attended and taught at a digital convention, so I've done a lot of traveling to meet my digi friends. It pays off to not have babies until you're 29 1/2! *lol*

Let's see... I flew to WA and spent 2 weeks with an online friend, drove to DC and spent a long weekend with some digi friends, and drove to Grand Rapids, MI to spend a long weekend with an online friend. I've even been to Emmy's house, but that was pre-Sam and the babies. :)

I hate the mall. I love Costco though. <3 Let's see..I get my hair done at ULTA and I will probably be going back sometime in the near future for that. I'll let you know when I'll be around. And *I* can be in Buford in 15. I drive like a bat.
 
Vanessa...I totally should've contacted you when I was up in Alaska. We go up fairly often since DH's siblings are all there.

I drove an hour to San Diego for a little get together with some gals. One of the gals actually lives a few blocks from me...but I don't think she's scrapping anymore (or at least not posting). I flew up to Sacramento (a 9 hour drive from here) to spend time with my sil and parents, and I planned it at the time of a digi scrap get together at Green Tangerine. Traci was there!!

For me, an hour travel is nothing. I told Leila if she moves to Los Angeles, I'll come visit her (that would be a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive).

I'm up for a trip to Vegas though...it's only a 4 hour drive!

and I really do plan to go to Texas this year. I probably won't be in the Dallas area though, and that means I won't see Darcy. Unless....she wants to drive down again to the Austin area! I'll be contacting you Texas girls as soon as I make plans. I don't want to come when it's hot though...so let me know.

Let me know if you plan anything during the summer. I am usually in Utah for 3-4 weeks.
 
I really would love to meet all my friends here, but I'm to far away .... living in Germany makes this nearly impossible.... I have met a German Digi Friend and I want to do this again as soon as the money is not such a problem here

But you are all invited to visit us here in our mill!

I was in Germany last year. I was really hoping to meet up with Sylvie (Sausan Designs). She is about an hour from Stuttgart, but we were only there for a few hours, and then we headed to Basel Switzerland on a bus (we chaperoned my son's band). We came back through and then on to Austria too, but it didn't work out. If we had stayed the night in Stuttgart like the plans were originally, we would've met up! I did meet up with friends in Vienna though. I had stayed with their family in Innsbruck 30 years ago. It's so funny though, because that was the highlight for my dh, son and myself. It's one thing to visit another country, but to get together with people, eat, drink, laugh...it just made it so much more memorable!
 
Depends...if I had the money to make a trip out of it (visit places, stay in a hotel for a few days, etc.) then I would travel a long way. If it was just for like a lunch or something up to 100 miles.
 
I have met up with Misty, Dani, Shawna and like 20+ other digiscrappers back in like 2006. I don't know if any of the other girls at that retreat hang out here at SSD. If so, please wave! :) I had a great time and would love to do it again!
 
I put other. A couple of years ago, I hopped on a plane and flew from Houston to Seattle to meet up with Kim (xboxmom). I don't know if either of us were digiscrappers by that point, but it was right around the time that I started playing digistyle, instead of with paper and glue.
