Hello! I'm new to the forum. Is there somewhere that shows how to post to the DSD challenges? Tried but I'm getting a message that says Moderator needs to approve. See ya around girls.

Hi CarmenR, welcome to SSD! On the top bar, click the quick link and choose edit signature. From there, you can insert a link (image address) for your siggy :)

Once you've posted 10 times to the forums, your permissions will change and you'll be able to comment in the gallery. Looks like you only need a few more!
I use imgur for photo hosting. It's free and easy to use.
 
Is there something I need to do to be able to edit my own posts? I thought I would be able to track my challenges by editing my post but there is no edit option.

You should be able to now...Once you have hit 10 comments your privileges loosen up. :) Welcome to the board. Can't wait to see your pages. :wub:

The "BBCode" link for message boards and forums is the one I used, I think. And you are NOT being a pest, just asking for help! We are happy to do that!

I'm Carolyn. I'm not new to digi scrapping, but I haven't scrapped a page in the last 6 years. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things and catch up on some layout making. I'm sure a lot has probably changed so looking forward to learning from all of you ;)

when i tried to use the The "BBCode" link for message boards and forums it say the BBcode is not allowed. is that because i am a newbie?

I'd like to show some love for layouts...with comments

I'm new to the gallery. I see beautiful layouts all the time. I'd like to leave a comment for the creators...praise & questions. But I can't seem to find a comment button. when I'm in the gallery or on a specific pic. Any idea why I'm missing this option? Thanks! I love the inspiration everyone shares. ~Missy~

Missy just click on the image you want to reply too and scroll down, there will be a small comment box simply enter your comment and hit submit.

I'm not new to Sweet Shoppe, but I am new to the community. I'm trying to upload and post and still don't have access or the know-how to resize files. LOL I'm trying, but failing hard :D but that's okay, I figured this is a good place to start. When I tried to upload a picture for my "avatar" it said the file was too big. It's just a file from my computer sooooooo idk. Any words of wisdom?

Hey Ashley, for the avatar, it has to be a specific size (dimension and file size). The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 29.3 KB
