Where do you live?

I'm from Vancouver, WA -- right across the river from Portland, OR. I miss it like CRAZY! Not only is my family there -- but this girl needs the green, trees & water that the Pacific Northwest is known for lol.

I'm currently in a place called Farmington NM -- a high desert town in northern NM, like 30min from the 4 corners area. I HATE it here and we are saving to move back home in WA summer 2015.

i have TONS of family in Vancouver yet have never been. i love WA though so i'm sure i'd love it there.

a close friend of mine has her entire mom's side of the family in Farmington. they always make short trips ;)

For the next 2.5 weeks, we live in Houston, TX. Both my husband and I are from Fort Worth, TX and we are moving back. His new job is smack dab in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth, so specifically which city we will end up in has yet to be determined.

I was born in Tampa, Florida, and grew up in a little village in New Hampshire. I've lived in Newtown, CT for the last 8 years since we've been married, except for two years in Sandy Hook (sharing the Newtown post office). My husband has lived several places in the west, and wants us to go back to Colorado Springs. I'm a New England girl, but I'm up for an adventure in the west. I think a dryer climate sounds appealing since I'm always hot, but I think I'll miss green. When we visited CO Springs it was brown.

We spent 3.5 years in CO Springs and yes it can be brown during the winter (about 8 months of the year) but it's SO pretty when it is green. We loved living in CO.

My grandma grew up in that area--Farmington, NM and Blanding, UT. She was orphaned at a pretty young age and was raised by her relatives. Her uncles ran Trading posts down there, and we visited a few times when I was really young.

I love reading all this stuff. It's amazing the little connections we all have.

wow, so many from Florida here :)
I'm originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. After married, we ventured to Singapore for 2 years then to New York for another 2 years and to Vero Beach, Florida for 5 years. We currently live in Adelaide, Australia (since 3 years ago) but would love to go back to Florida, I miss it so much!

We currently live in Crystal Lake, IL (northwest suburb of Chicago)....have lived here for 9 years.

I am from Streator, IL, which is about 2 hours south of here. My parents still live in the house that I grew up in. I was 3 when we moved a street over to my childhood house. The majority of my family still lives in Streator.

Born and raised in Southeast Michigan, spent some time in the UP at college in Houghton, MI, and since then I've moved back to Southeast Michigan. Love it here!

I live in the Netherlands, most scrappers I meet online are from the USA! But we have a little digital scrapbooking community here in Holland/Belgium as well :)

I'm in Canada! Currently in Quebec near Montreal, but we're hoping and praying for another move soon as we're all miserable here (the hubby is military and moves us around). Before coming here we were in Alberta for 8yrs, before that in Ontario. Most of our family live in or near North Bay, Ontario.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I grew up in a small town called Ngaruawahia about an hour south of Auckland.

My brother studied in New Zealand for a few years for his degree. I think at Massey University. He's been to Auckland for vacation. I love the scenery in his vacation photos!

About 30 miles West of you! In a tiny lil town that's 10 miles from MI/OH border! Why have we never met up for lunch Vanessa?!

I'm in Bentonville, Arkansas - we've been here for almost 5 years. Before AR we lived in Orlando for @10 years. I miss my family in Orlando but Bentonville is such a great place to raise a family.

I've also lived in SW IL, Central IL, Sioux Falls SD, Fort Myers FL, and Racine WI. :)

I grew up in Prague, Czech Republic and currently I'm living in a smaller town in Eastern part of CZ.

I live in Turnhout, a small town in Belgium near the border with the Netherlands.

I've lived in Charlotte, NC since Summer 2012. Lived in Phoenix, AZ for 10 years before that and was born and raised in Southern California prior to that :)

Charlotte is by far my favorite place I've ever lived. I LOVE it here!

I was just in Charlotte this last weekend... I love that area - but then I must have lived in the south in a previous life - I love my sweet tea and grits! ;) I was amazed that Charlotte was as large as it was... I had thought it would have been smaller for some reason.

I live in Appleton WI (25 min south of the Green Bay Packers)... born here, grew up about 20 min west of here in Fremont - the White Base (fish) Capital of the World.

I was born and raised in Southeastern Arizona (near Ft. Huachuca, but not military). Went to college just over an hour away in Tucson, AZ where I went to college and met my husband. After we graduated we moved out here to southern New Hampshire. I'd never been further east than New Mexico until we were literally driving across the country on our move.

To the lady from New England who wants to go west, it is brown. ;) I'd never seen green nor seasons until we moved here, and I have trouble imagining going back. And even if it's a dry heat, 100+ degrees is still miserably hot, and the monsoons are wicked humid too. ;) The desert does have its beauties, but I still can't get over how amazing seasons are.

We have so many connections. Lol. When were you at UofA? We lived in Tucson from 2002-2007. Hubby did his MBA at Arizona and I worked for the University for a while as well. I did learn to love the beauty of the desert (and the lighting storms during the monsoons are AMAZING), but I desperately missed having all four seasons. I was glad, though, that Tucson has some mountains. I think I would have died if there hadn't been at least been some.

Right after we left Tucson our friend's 3-year old daughter got bit by a rattlesnake, and it was very scary. In the whole time we lived there, I never saw a rattlesnake, scorpion, or tarantula (besides at the Desert Museum). We did have a cute little gecko that used to hang out on our porch light, though. :)

Whoa! We were there at the same time! Who knew?! I was there from fall 2004-spring 2009. Monsoon season was my favorite season growing up. I would stay up late watching the amazing storms.

We had snakes and tarantulas as classroom pets growing up. We even got to hold them. Luckily we frequently had roadrunners in our neighborhood, so we rarely had to worry about rattlesnakes.

Now I have to live in fear of ticks, which seem scarier than all I those. Lol!

Where in New Hampshire do you live?

I live in Madison, WI and am from Birmingham, Alabama. Only things I miss about the south are the milder winters, the good food (most restaurants here suck..hard for a pregnant lady with cravings) and my family (13-hour drive away).

I live in a suburb of Denver, Colorado. We moved here in 2011.

I was born and raised in Arkansas, and my family and many friends are still there. I miss it and will always consider myself an Arkansan, but I've come to realize it would break my heart if we ever have to leave Colorado.
