Zip Files Issue

Ok, I screwed something up. I had like 3 different unzipping programs on my computer and didn't want to use them anymore so I uninstalled them. I just want to use the old standard way of unzipping programs that comes with the computer. I use Vista. Its not even giving me a way of unzipping them now. It comes up as a PSP X2 file, then tries to open in that and says its not supported. What do I do?

You'll have to reinstall winzip or winrar to unzip them.
I use ACDSee now on my new comp instead of installing either of them.

maybe it's a file associations thing . . .

what program is the zip extension associated with?

Its saying PSP X2 is what its associated with. Before I had downloaded WinZip, WinRar and ZipWhiz, it had one it used that came installed at the beginning.

I was thinking file association also. Like because the programs you used to use aren't there, it's not just defaulting back to your normal program.

I'm not sure where that setting might be though... I looked through my menus and I went to help and search set default programs, and you can find ways there to change things. Hopefully that will help!
