does anybody have an example of this type of page? I want to see what one looks like as I'm taking zero embellishments to mean absolutely zero! No ribbons, flowers, swirls, scatters, alphas, etc, and I want to see what that would look like
When I think of this style, I think of something you might see in a magazine. The photos really are the focus with the text being secondary. "Clean" is the word that comes to mind for me. I definitely think Misty is the perfect example of this!
I really want to try that challenge! I pretty much use every embellishment in a kit so it's time to step outside my comfort zone. Thanks for providing Misty's sample! Her page rocks!
I think alphas count as embellishments. (As they are often included in the embelli folder) Unless they are the stamped alphas - I can see those working.
My older layouts in my gallery have a lot of examples of just papers, photos and words. Some have one or two embellishments that could easily be left off.
At the photography forum where I have spent most of my "forum time" in the last couple of years there is a LIKE button (as on Facebook) so as I'm scrolling and looking at awesome layouts here I keep wishing I could click on LIKE.
