Voting was tough for us this year. We figured it out that in our family, we had 5 people vote one way and 5 vote the other. So basically, our family doesn't count...lol! We did pretty much stick together on our local and state elections. I'll be so interested when the numbers start coming in...this is a historic day, that's for sure.

Ours does the same, Jennifer. My dad and I voted for Obama and my mom and brother voted McCain. It's a wash. LOL KS will go to McCain anyway.

WOOT for no on prop H8e!

While we're at it, lets make sure the races can't intermarry anymore either!

*sigh* I'm a Christian and I still think prop 8's not right.

We took the kids and went to the local elementary school to vote today. I wore Phin, so he was pretty interested in the ballot, lol.

The biggest thing I'm worried about besides my presidential choice is Prop 8 here. I've been nearly losing sleep over it.

Anyway... here's Phin, wearing my "I Voted" sticker outside the polling place:

OMG I hope Im doing this right is my 1st post LOL This is my first year to vote. I just didnt care before I guess. Now that I have kids and care about other things though I deffintaly wanted to get my vote in there. So I did go this morning and Im so nervous to see the outcome of it all!

i don't really think the nation is that divided. I think the parties are divided and becoming more polarized and since we only have a choice of two we have to pick one, which makes us look divided.

but if you actually look at the details, most people do not agree 100% with everything thier party promotes, just enough of it to make that party more attractive than the other one.

For me, I'm more nervous over Prop 8 in California than I am over the candidates...I think that Prop 8 will have a more lasting effect.

Best of luck to all Americans today!!

Exactly. There are just too many legal ramifications that go along with Prop 8. I voted and I'm proud of myself!

I voted with the party for President and against them for Senate and House. Am not interested in electing convicted felons...
