While we're on the obsession theme... who are you obsessed with listening to lately?

I'm not very diverse in what i listen to. Meaning: when I find something I like, I listen to it till someone complains their ears are bleeding. These last 2 weeks it has James Bay.

O.M. G. I am head-over-heels in love. :wub: That sweet boy's Chaos and Calm album has been looping through my house for the last 2 weeks straight, no joke.

I have no patience with music that I don't like. Which means I rarely listen to the radio or find new music to love. I have my playlists on spotify and mostly it's Maroon 5. Love them!
 
I'm a Metal head.... (the more modern lighter stuff, not the hardcore scream at you stuff)... believe it or not I find it the most soothing and relaxing. Other than that I have hit my "peak" with other genres and revert back to the 80's and 90's stuff for my songs of 'comfort' and memories.

Musical theater--anyone who hasn't listened to the album Sara Bareilles did of music from her new show is missing out!

My absolute devotion to James Taylor is well-documented.

For newer artists, I've been enjoying Lake Street Dive, Jess Glynne, and Andra Day.

I love alllll kinds of music!!!

I don't think I have any music obsession... I have varied, but particular tastes... haha. I love a song, I buy it and have it on my ipod... that is what I choose to listen, too... so everything from classical, big band, 70's-80's, folk, worship music, soundtracks, etc... I'm closest to Rebecca's tastes. Love contemporary Christian: Mercy Me, Matthew West, Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Francesca Battistelli etc. I listen to a local radio station (yes, local, I'm old!) and buy the songs I like for my phone. Spotify sounds like a great idea but I'm too cheap to buy a membership!
 
I love just about everything, especially metal (Jenn!), but rarely any country. I do like bluegrass, though. No real obsessions, but I love me my guilty pleasure - Britney.
 
I'm a little picky about finding new music to listen to, too! I don't have patience for the radio, and I usually find new music to obsess over when my brother calls me with a 'you have to listen to this' conversation. I've been stuck on Marianas Trench for quite a while now, along with other faves. I don't love just one kind of music, I like almost any genre except country, really.

My daughter has me on a One Direction kick lately (Ain't no shame in my game!), so I'm a wee bit obsessed with former band member Zayn's "Pillowtalk" single. I'm also really digging Melanie Martinez and Halsey, also due to my kid's musical influence. ;)

In about 2,5 weeks i go to a 3 days music festival with my best friend for 11 years , whe can sleep at my home because it is in my home town and it is really big . And hubby is going to his mom that week so whe have the whole week for our self
