You never realize how attached you are to the internet

until you don't have it!! Last week AT&T screwed up my account (when I switched from land line + DSL to only DSL). I was 4 days without internet including over the weekend! :thumbdown: I can't count how many times I thought "I'll just look that up" or I wanted to download a new file for my Silhouette for V-day! It was finally working on Monday after an hour on the phone reegistering and I'll be damned if it wasn't down again last night! They couldn't even tell me why, said they'd have to send someone out which really doesn't work for me since I work outside the home and can't work FROM home without internet!!

I even had a hard time scrapping over the weekend because of it. Do many of yall scrap offline? It should make things easier but its become such a habit, scrap a little, browse a gallery, scrap a little, refresh the forum, scrap, e-mail, scrap, facebook.

hee hee I am right there with you. I have a laptop and have a Sprint Mi-Fi so I can have internet anywhere I go ... but sometimes carrying a 17" laptop is a bit cumbersome especially if you are photographing an event ... so we just ordered me a netbook that will fit in my purse so I can take my mi-fi with me and literally be online anywhere anytime. Yeah it's an addiction ... but I don't want the cure!! :p
 
I hear ya. I can't scrap without internet either. I made sure my internet was hooked up at my new house before I left my old one, so I wouldn't miss a day LOL

Omg, that is so me!! :D :D

I was lost when my internet was off for approx 2 hours a few months ago, I couldn't imagine a few days without it!
 
We were without internet for over a week and it nearly killed me...apparently the reason why I am such a slow designer is because I waste TOO much time on the internet. I actually got work done when I couldn't get online :)

glad I'm not alone! My husband made the remark " I hope it doesn't come back on until Monday". Darn good thing looks can't kill! ;)
