Yoda Cake :-) DONE!

Omgsh. Hahaha. If my son ever asks for a Yoda cake it would be like...a Betty Crocker batter, some white frosting, and then in icing writing, and sloppily at that, I would write. YODA. Ta-da! A Yoda cake. You are so unreal! What an awesome cake. And it sounds like it was TASTY.
 
That is sooo impressive. My hubbie and I love Yoda...too bad you don't live in the Midwest. I would pay for a cake like that. Great job! :thumbup:
 
OMGosh that cake rocks! Seriously, you should consider having a small side business doing cakes. I am from Baltimore, where Ace of Cakes is filmed, and I called their office to get a price on a cake for my son's birthday and it was crazy expensive. They make a ton of money on their cakes.

Anyway, you could just start doing cakes one at a time out of your house for some side money. You never know where it will lead you!

Dude, I totally second the cake selling idea. I know you love it, so maybe making one cake for a few extra bucks every so often wouldn't be that bad?
 
What a cool cake Mikkel! I agree, you should definitely have a little side business making cakes for birthday parties and such!

Cake making is a passion of mine too, Im a pastry chef. But I havent made anything as spectacular as that.

Wow that is awesome! I use to teach cake decorating for a few years and recently stopped when my little one came. I CAN NOT WAIT till he is old enough for me to make his b-day cakes!

That is absolutely amazing! I second that you should do it for some money. People don't bat an eye when they drop $40 at Costco for a sheet cake. Imagine how much a cake like this could make you!

I know! They're CRAZY expensive. His cakes start at $500 - I can't believe the people that get the cakes for a household birthday party, for instance, that's just one tier....and they paid $500 for that thing? Incredible!

All your comments made me laugh with the Yoda references and your kids asking why you can't do that?! LOL....tell them b/c I don't have kids yet and they take up your free time. LOL...:)

Thanks everyone...maybe I should "advertise" I do it. The extra money couldn't hurt. You're all very encouraging!
