Yoda Cake :-) DONE!

So some of you knew I was working on a "Yoda" cake and asked me what it was....it's Yoda from Star Wars!

My fiance was working on Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World for May and then the event was every weekend in June so I made this cake for the team for their final day this past Sunday.

The head's Rice Krispie treats (Cocoa Krispies actually!) and the body's chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and everything's coated in chocolate buttercream, then with fondant. It was a labor of love....then it was gone b/c we ate it! :)

Holy guacamole! That is awesome- I have no talent in that area and couldn't make that, but I bet I could eat it! Great job!

Haha - but it would've been taller and then I would've needed more internal structure. ;)

Thanks for your compliments, ladies! I love doing this as a hobby...if only I could do it full time and didn't have to pay off student loans! :cursing:
 
i couldn't bear to eat all that hard work! i am obsessed with sw and i am loving that cake!! fabo job mikkel!
 
Wow! You've got some talent girl! I shoulda called you for L.J.'s bday cake. I could have drove over there to pick it up. :)
 
Good lord woman! That cake is amazing! You said Yoda and I assumed it was like a flat thing, not a whole yoda standing up!
