DH came home from work yesterday and announced that today he was taking BOTH kids to his parents' house for the day today so I can have a break!! I think he's realized that I've been completely stressed out the past couple of weeks with a toddler and a 4 year old and a new puppy driving me crazy. I'm a little nervous b/c he's never been solo on a trip with Ella but I'm going to let him tackle it b/c I really want a day to myself...I haven't had a day totally alone with no kids since before I got pregnant with Ella 2 years ago. So I'm going to scrap scrap scrap!!! :thumbup:

My 2 are down their grandparents for the night, they've just gone about 10 mins ago and OH is at his friends house watching football(soccer ;)) and the house is so quiet. :thumbup: I'm going to have a hot bath then scrap all day with no interruptions.

Girl, you crazy. I just love you! And btw Nikki.....I totally agree. Men are so easy to figure out.
 
Sweet!!! How sweet of him! Right now I am sitting here with 6 LOUD teenagers playing video games in the next room (with no doors between us) ... I have headphones on and watching Gilmore Girls ... the boys are so loud I almost can't hear my show! I need a break too! ...the birthday slumber parties are a bit loud when they involve that many teenagers and video games ... lol Enjoy their day away!

My DH gave me one of those a few months back...except i was breastfeeding, so really he just took the baby to the loungeroom and i locked myself in our bedroom with my laptop, and he just brought bub in when he needed feeding. Was great! i need another one of those days. xxx
 
Well it was great while it lasted :)..I got 3 pages done, cleaned my entire house and had lots of quiet time. But they all tumbled through the door about an hour ago and the chaos has returned.
 
I'm glad you got a little bit of time for yourself even if you did spend some of it cleaning...gosh what were you thinking girl lol! Hopefully you get some more time soon :)
