X-Box and windows live question...

So, this thing can go online right? Can you download music and movies and such? I see a media setting on the screen but not sure what it's all for. DH and DS just play games on it but from what I understand it can do so much more? Anyone know anything about this?

hahahah I think I am your person to answer this! You can't buy music but you can stream through your pc and u can plug your Ipod into it too. As for movies yes you can buy them and some TV shows even. Also if you do netflix any movie that you can watch right away on your PC u can watch on your xbox too! It really is a GREAT machine! There is also a section where u can buy video games too example lego star wars is now something you can purchase from xbox and you don't have to have a CD anymore! hooray!!! Not all games are available this way but some are. There are tons of Arcade games you can purchase too. And it has avatars like the Mii's on the Wii but you can buy clothes and what not for them its pretty fun! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask! This is our life here at my place. My husband works on xbox he is the manager of the shell and platform so any questions you have that I can't answer he can! Enjoy!

We have a wireless network adapter on ours and it connects to our network. I connect it to my computer to listen to music through my Zune software. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Netflix option. I load up cartoons for the kids, The Office for me, and other movies so we don't have to watch on the computer.

And my DH bought my avatar a camera.

You are supposed to be able to play games with other people but we haven't tried that because of the live chats and I'm worried about my kids getting into that.

They are supposed to be adding Facebook and Pandora Music to it. I can't WAIT for that!

Hmmmm, sounds like I need a wireless connector for it then... Thanks girls! If we decide to hook it up I may have more questions.
