WWYD RE: birth announcments

So I'm just now getting around to getting birth announcements done..my question is ..if it were you would you use a photo from when she was just born or now at 2 1/2 mos? I can't decide lol
 
I would probably do now... they know when she was born, so they know she is older now and the little ones have so much more personality in photos when they get a bit older. HTH!

I love Lena's suggestion, too- perfect compromise!
 
I am such a fence sitter, but I would try to incorporate both.
Besides I love seeing then and now pictures anyway and everyone gets a good idea how much she is growing!
 
I would use only one (or a series of photos taken at the same time) and I would just choose the best photo, regarless of when it was taken :)
 
Well...I was lazy and bought a premade card from SMJ and it only had a place for one photo...so I picked one from when she was around a month old that was a fave...

Looks great--what a cutie! And FWIW, I used a 3 wk photo for announcements I made at 6 wks and sent at 8 wks. Lauren's announcement and handprint will be hanging next to the boys', so I didn't want her to be too much older in her photo.
 
You know now that I think of it, my son was close to a month in the photos I used for the annoucements. So I think you made a fantastic choice. :thumbup:
