Since I'm not really scrapping anymore I decided to set up a new blog just for family.

Usually I install Wordpress myself by carefully following their installation directions. This time I decided to try using Fantastico, which is provided by my web host. WOW click click and done!! Took like 10 seconds. :thumbup:

I guess I'm on my own for upgrades though. And Wordpress seems to love to upgrade fairly frequently :glare:.
 
I am sad that you are on a break. I love what you do. You were so nice to me when I started here. I :wub: you.
I hope you come back soon. ANd I hope you don't need to upgrade again for a while :(
 
Well maybe you could set up a blog for ME then since you have all this free time onyour hands now.

LOL, I think you just added my old blog. Not sure if I'll be keeping that one up.

re: not scrapping. well, I just lost the desire to do it anymore. Very weird eh? Perhaps in a few months I'll get back to it. but first I have to organize my stuff, home, time, etc.

Kellie or Lizzy, if you want me to set up a blog for you, let me know! If you have your own domain I can customize totally (same as Blogger) but if you use the free Wordpress, I can't help you. LOL Check out my 2 blogs below...my scrapping one I did totally, the 365 one is a theme I found, but did a bit of tweaking to.

You'll be missed! But I just read your blog entry, and after 3 years of high intensity scrapping I'm not surprised you need a break. I've been digiscrapping since March '04, and at one point I took a break for almost a year. For 6 months of that I didn't scrap at all, and then for 6 months I scrapped a little because I felt like I should but my heart wasn't in it. I thought I was just done digiscrapping and had moved on to other hobbies. After that year I came back as into it as ever and have remained that way for a year and a half so far. I hope your desire to digiscrap comes back eventually!
 
Sorry to hear you've stepped back Mimi, I did the same thing, quit all but 1 CT just before Christmas. I just really needed to breathe, the holidays, work and scrapping were swallowing me whole.

I also need a blog set up. Since you don't have anything else to do now :p
 
thanks for your nice words everyone. I feel all warm and fuzzy.

I'd love to help everyone set up blogs but the thought of doing that makes my brain bleed. Anyway, I have a new mission in life . . . to get Miffy on I Can Has Cheezburger. I may not be able to scrap again until I do this . . . :p
