My sister puts her daughter into pageants and she got me a job doing a comp sheet (basically a photo collage) for the pageants I guess for one of her friends she met through there. Anyhow she knows I really do not agree with the pageants and I really dislike the way these little girls are made up. I dont know if it is something I really want to do because of the way I feel about the whole pageant scene bu8t I know it doesnt take alot of time and we could use the extra money. My husband says I shouldn't care because it is money for us but I just dont know. Would you do it given the chance or not?
 
oooh tough descion. I personally don't like pageants either but the extra money is good.... Maybe give it a try.

Maybe you've told her you disagree and all, maybe not. But all in all it's her life her decisions ...
 
I'd do it this time and then see how you feel about it after it is done & paid for. If you have an 'ick' feeling then let her know you'd rather not do any more, should the opportunity come up. If you don't have an 'ick' feeling, then you might have found a nice little business for yourself.

thanks...for the record Im not judging anyone who might also particiapte in pageants because just because I dont like it doesnt mean it isnt ok for others. I just get that "ick" feeling when I see the pictures of these little girls made up to look like they are women. I would be ok with it if they just went up on stage like they look naturally with no fake hair and nails and tons of makeup.

She is supposed to call me back though and let me know the details and I guess Ill see how it goes. Since we really could use the extra money I will probably go ahead and do it and see how it goes.
