A spin off from my iPod thread....Sara got a CAN OPENER from her MIL for Christmas. Yikes!
Post your worst gift, doesn't have to be from the ILs!

I'd LOVE a can opener like that. I have to {gasp} open my cans with a manual can opener. Some days Joel has to open the cans because I'm not strong enough. It's an automated can opener... one of the ones that you put on the can and push a button and it opens the can for you.. which yes, is kind of cool.. but still.. it's a can opener. LOL

I swear...I swear this is no lie. A bottle of Wind Song perfume with a garage sale sticker still on the bottle.
inlaws gave me a job application in front of the WHOLE family for x-mas. nice, i was sooo peeved and embarrased.
how about my passive aggressive grandparents in law giving my 1.5 year old a box of mac and cheese and a pair of girlie leopard print socks for Christmas one year while all the other kids got train sets and computers and those robo dogs...
my poor baby :*(
OMG that is horrible! :thumbdown:inlaws gave me a job application in front of the WHOLE family for x-mas. nice, i was sooo peeved and embarrased.
ummmm..... what exactly is that?
oh that makes me mad too, Traci! You can't do that to kids! Please tell us that she reformed and has made up for it.
Nope, now they passive aggressively just don't talk to us. which is actually  cause I can't stand them. LOL
I hope you send them an 8x10 of you and your DH on that taxi. LOL![]()
This isn't me, but my husband's grandma gave my 14-year-old BIL the best birthday card I've ever seen. It had a dog in a very suggestive pose holding a present over his...bits...on the cover. On the inside it said "Nice package."

When I saw it I laughed so hard I cried. What a card for a grandma to give her teenage grandson! I know she didn't realize what it meant, but it wasn't because she was naive. I don't this she even read the card (she's not the most caring or involved grandparent). I think she just thought, "Dog. Present. Sounds good."
