Feeling sick to my stomach after realising only 13gb of 130gb or so had uploaded to Backblaze and i'm pretty sure I didn't have a full back up on my external as I was still in the process of organising my stash. Potentially 10 years of supplies gone..........

You kjnow what, I lost a ton of stuff one time, and it turns out I didn't miss it as much as I thought I would. I did the challenges every month and built my stash back up and bought from new designers.

I am awfully sorry though!
 
it's one of those cases that I can't afford buy new things let alone replace everything - as it is the theft of my laptop will cost me up to $300 or so for stuff that I don't have receipts for

Oh, no! 😢 I'm sorry. Do you have some of it backed up to the EHD? If so, restore the older backup and the 13 GB on Backblaze, and ask store owners for newer download links to be reset. It won't replace everything, but hopefully it will give you enough to work with.

I won't know if I do for awhile yet as not only was my laptop stolen but so was my mums so can't check til I take my ehd to the library and check when I use their computers. If I do have anything saved it will be from 18 months-2 years ago at most.
 
Your links might still work, Jennifer. Check your order history in your shoppe account, and I think you can probably still download things that are still available in the store. (At least you used to could; it could have changed since I lost my EHD.)

I will give it a go once I have a new laptop, at this stage it's looking like early May at the earliest for that.

How frustrating. Loosing your stash is the worst. Luckily it was only scrapbook things and not photos, those you can't re download as easily.
And yes, ask if you can re download some of it, even if it isn't everything it will help. Most designers are really good when it comes to helping out.

Well good news , that did work and it has given me approx 20GB of stuff from 2 stores and I'm still working on the third plus I still have to try and go back further here at SSD as I only went back as far as beginning of last year.

Not a new computer yet, that's probably 2 weeks away as we had a few issues finding paperwork to put the insurance claim in. I'm currently housesitting for my grandma while she's in Canada so using her laptop to download and put stuff on my ehd. Can't scrap but I can at least do the basics.

i might be kinda dumb, but i think if my server broke and i lost scrap supplies, i'd probably be okay with it. some kits i bought to support my fav designers and store so it's not the end of the world since my purchase did what i hoped i intended. i also know i'm a digital hoarder... if i lost my server, i think it'd probably be god's way of telling me it's time to purge lol

nonetheless, i know i'm a weirdo and the vast majority of people would feel the exact opposite and for good reason! i AM very glad you have been able to download more than you thought you'd be able to and have gotten a few more gigs back of purchases!! hopefully everything turns out even better. <3
