I'm beyond stoked about this. :) When my neice Emily was a baby, I called her 'Boober' all the time!
 
*rofl* OMG! I heard this on the radio this week and totally thought, 'I have to tell Sara this! I just know she was into the Fraggles!'

... and then I forgot.
 
I have all the seasons 1-3 currently on DVD---they have them at walmart...in seasons...my nickname in college was red...SOOO COOL :)
 
I have some of the seasons on DVD too... and I was so excited to show them to Abby... and she totally didn't get it. LOL
 
Remind me why I liked that show? I remember watching it but now in my dotage I don't remember much about it. The only thing I recall is really loving . . . dang what were they . . . the doozers? Small little things . . .

anyway I saw the DVDs @ Costco recently . .
 
OMG. i LOVED fraggle rock. like, LOVED it.
even if i was like, 2 when it was on. but it was so cool!
i actually like anything henson. sesame street, the muppets, fraggle rock..
 
Jennilyn I cannot believe you just mentioned Puttin on the Hits! I was just thinking about that show the other day and how cool it was at the time. I always wished they would reun it with modern day contestants.
Would be so neat to see what people come up with.
Do you remember THIS GUY!? He still amazes me 20+ years later.

I don't really remember any of the acts on it LOL But that guy was awesome! He deserved his perfect score!
 
I am like the only loser that never watched this show... was it on cable? I have heard of it and have seen bits of it but never as a kid. BUT I did love The Muppet Show... it was the one night (Friday) that I was allowed to stay up late to see it. *sings* "This is what we call our Muppet Shooooow!"
 
We weren't cool with ANY cable until I was well in HS! I graduated in '95 so that was like less than 15 yrs ago! We also didn't have a microwave until about that time either. AND my parents still do not have a dish washer... it is like modern technology eludes them... they've finally figured out the computer but ask questions all the time about stuff even though it's already been explained 22 times.

Anyway... that is cool re Fraggle Rock... maybe since I missed out my daughter can watch it! :D

My husband was a Fraggle (Red) for Halloween last year! Check it out! Our kids were all like, "Mama, what is a Fraggle?" But all the adults who saw him when we went trick or treating TOTALLY got it!

AND my little sister was on Puttin On The Hits! She was only in elementary school but she was in this little singing group that did Beach Boys songs and they were on the show! I am sure they only made it for the cute little kid factor but it was still fun! I remember the guy that won did an AWESOME Michael Jackson!

P.S. Please don't be jealous of my mad extraction skills. I know they are enough to just make you want to quit even trying.

P.P.S. I know this layout and page is totally lame. I was trying to catch up one late late night and just started slamming stuff together. I almost did not post this because I was concerned you think I just suck all the way around...really...it was late and I am lazy.
