WOOOOO!!!

Well my three and a half year old FINALLY did it! he pooped on the potty!!!

several times today so far actually! right as i was about ready to give up on potty training and sell him to someone mean!

but i decided to just strip him nakie today - and after a few hundred ridiculously inappropriate songs about being naked and all it entails, he said "oh i have to poop" and ran for the bathroom....

aaaaaahh <---- the sound of angels singing

I promised him a hot chocolate in starbucks if he ever did it. So now wish me luck as I lug my three youngest into starbucks and ruin everyones mellow! I don't care! I didn't have to change that discusting poopy pullup, I'm as mellow as can be LOL
:p

Woohoo congrats little man (and mom).

My 3 year old loves Starbucks too, but I can't trust him inside one so we've instituted 'Starbucks picnics'. We go through the drive in, bring it home and spread a blanket on the floor for our 'picnic'. He thinks it is the most special thing ever :)

Woo hoo!! We are justsoclose to being 100% diaper free after 15 years, so I feel your excitement!

And Misty omg that's so cute about Starbucks picnics!

That's awesome! I can't wait until Kaylee is potty trained. She'll be 3 on September 1st, so I'm hoping she'll beat her sister who did it at 3 1/4 :)

YAY for YOU!!!!! L.J. will be three in June and loves to poop on the potty, but can't seem to make it in there to pee. He's always been one of those kids that does things in the wrong order.

Woohoo!!!
Oh I am so happy for you and green with envy.
My 3yr old, just doesn't want to.
Ughh. Maybe I'll try the Starbucks approach now!!

Congrats!!!! I can't wait to be celebrating this milestone with my son. He is 3.5 and has no desire whatsoever to use the potty like a big boy. I see us homeschooling because he refuses to use the potty LOL!!!! I am so ready to pull my hair out.

how awesome!!

I am on the way to being diaper-free in our house too. Quin has gone poop on the potty a few times, unfortunately, nothing consistent. We promised a brand-new big boy bike if he can go more than week on the potty instead of his diaper. He understands, now just need him to follow through.
He goes pee without a problem, and is dry every morning, so this is the final step. lol

Can I just say I'm glad I'm not the only person in the universe with a three and a half year old that isn't potty trained! I was begining to feel like a major loser of a mom! LOL

My other two it was right around three, and this guy has been dragging his feet BIG time. But You know maybe we FINALLY turned a corner!

I'm so proud! I really didn't realize how gross the whole thing was until we brought tennyson home and his tiny little diapers were all cute and unstinky....

thanks for celebrating with me! my double tall skinny vanilla late and I are quite happy I must say!

woohoo congrats shawna...i so know how good it feels because my 3 1/2 year old son has been potty trained for almost 4 weeks...I should've come here for support because I thought he was the only 3 1/2 year old that wasn't potty trained...now I know there are others out there too :)

YAY!!! That's what I finally had to do to my son, strip him naked and let him run around that way LOL

Oh Shawna that gives me hope. LOL! Keira will be 3 on Friday and I can't get that child to poop in the potty to save my life.

Wahooo that's fab Shawna!

I wish I could feel your joy...my 3yo is REFUSING to poo on the toilet...we've tried to bribe him with toys, stickers, lollies and (now this is weird but he loves taking out the garbage...go figure) not letting him take out stuff to the garbage bin or bring the bins in after the garbage truck has been, we've had him naked, left him in his filth and nuthin. He just doesn't care. ANyhoo I know that it will happen some time...I just wish it was soon because I'm sick of lookin at poo :)

Fee :)

Way to go little man!!!
And good job momma!!! I wanted to start Jade with the potty training thing and it isn't going so well!! She won't even pee on it, LOL!! What am I doing wrong????:p

YAY!
i agree with the M&M thing. that's how my neighbor did it with her daughter. she started around halloween, and bought bags and bags of the individual mini bags of m&m's. of the little one went on the potty, she got a bag. it worked like a charm.
or if you didn't want to do candy, little toys. stuff like they have at the dentist. know what i mean? even stickers.
but YAY shawna!

Whoo Hooo!!!

We had to bribe JT with the Bob the Builder duplo block sets, every time he did it he got a new set and still plays with those things almost 3 years later.

Yay for him and yay for you!!

man we have tried EVERY reward in the book before today - starbucks was the last of a zillion promises! lol - but the nakey thing seems to be the trick! wooo!

Woohoo!! I bribed Luca with M&M's LOL We also did this rediculous dance every time the boy did anything on the potty, but hey, it worked! LOL
