Well, tonight that is - one of the few network shows I even watch anymore...and so excited about it coming on tonight! 2 hr premiere starting at 7Central!

I know! I am SO excited!!! They totally left us hanging on the season finale & I've been itching all summer to find out what's gonna happen!! lol

ARGGHH - just to double check... Heroes is in the same timeslot.

ACK! House/Heroes/Heroes/House....OH! Thank goodness for HULU! lol I may see Heroes late, but at least I'll get to see it!

I haven't watched this before...in a nutshell ... what is it about...and is it "kid friendly?" (talking teens that are kinda immature? no kissing and such ... prefer not major blood or extreme evil stuff like massacres)... and starting several years (I think) into it...will it be too hard to figure out?

I'm going to start watching the Big Bang Theory that has the season opener tonight...we watched a few teasers on the internet.

I'm assuming you mean Heroes.

I'd say yes, Heroes is teen-friendly. We don't let our almost 10 year old watch it, but we would let him if he was a few years older. It can get gorey in a few places, but it's tamer than most action/fantasy movies. It's definitely one I'd say needs to be watched from the beginning to get the history of characters and story line down. It can be confusing w/o it. There is a bit of sex in the first season because one of the characters is does online peep shows, and a couple of isolated scenes occasionally in the series with the same character, but it's pretty rare.

In a nutshell, it's about a group of humans who find, after a solar eclipse, that they have some extraordinary powers that they have to learn to deal with, and protect themselves from.

No...I meant HOUSE...

...don't think I like the idea of the online peep shows...that could open up a whole new "discussion" with the boys...

I think House is OK for teens, but I don't know if they'd like it. There is some occasional kissing and there has been some sex scenes, and certainly some talking about it, but nothing graphic as far as I can remember. The blood stuff can be a bit gross sometimes, but never scary. The medical lingo can be a bit complicated, so I don't know if teenage boys are going to be that into it. If I had teens I'd definately let them watch if they wanted to (but then again, I am probably quite liberal when it comes to sex-scenes on tv compared to most Americans ;)). I don't think it would be that hard to figure out if you start watching it now, you could always read some episode recaps online to get the back-story. They usually have some kind of medical thing they need to figure out in each episode, and it is a new one each time, so that part is easy - but I guess to see why the characters interact the way they do you would need to know a bit about their history.

LOL that sounds like a soap opera...lol

Ok maybe we will stick to the EUReKA and the Warehouse 13 shows...and check out the Big Bang Theory...that's actually quite a bit of TV watching considering we are at Robotics 4 times a week! lol

I"m not ready!! I haven't finished last season of House yet!! We were supposed to watch the last few episodes we have on the DVR this weekend, but we all know how planning can go, lol!

As for Heroes--we both gave up on it a few episode in last season.

ARGGHH - just to double check... Heroes is in the same timeslot.

ACK! House/Heroes/Heroes/House....OH! Thank goodness for HULU! lol I may see Heroes late, but at least I'll get to see it!

The very same dilemma, lol. Hulu is going to be my "hero" for watching Heroes later, lol.
